My wife and I stayed three nights at the Limelight during the "off season" period in Aspen between the ski- and summer-tourist seasons. The town is pretty quiet then and lots of businesses are closed for a break. At the Limelight, however, there was no sign of reduced staffing or a lessening of standards. The hotel is located at the edge of "downtown" Aspen but is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Our room (a complimentary upgrade) was clean, spacious, and nicely appointed. In a perfect world it would have had a walk-in shower instead of a tub-shower, but that's just a minor quibble based on aging knees. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty. All in all, we'd happily return to the Limelight when in Aspen.

The wife and I absolutely love this hotel. It was our first time staying here and we were blown away. The Location is perfect, free breakfast every morning, great rooms (free upgrade to a view) and incredible staff. Sole from Housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable in our room. She was on top of everything we threw at her. This will be our "go to" hotel any time we come back to Aspen.

Limelight in Aspen was a great surprise. Went for a spring skiing week and the hotel couldn’t be better. The staff was very friendly, the rooms was great ( they gave me a free upgrade in my arrival) with a beautiful Mountain view. They had a busy apres ski with good music, very good breakfast, free transfers to the airport and to snowmass. Definitely coming back.

Three cheers for Matt and Cristina at check in finding us the best room for a reasonable rate. Their helpful and welcoming manner really set the tone for our stay. The room was clean, bed comfy and had good amenities. Super location and breakfast had many healthy choices.

Limelight is a great updated hotel in Aspen. Location is perfect. Walking distance to everything, bars, restaurants, and shopping. Upon check in the staff was warm and welcoming. I was given a free upgrade into a room with a beautiful terrace. This hotel does have an underground parking garage or a less expensive option of parking on the street with a parking pass. If its going to snow I would recommend the parking garage. This hotel has a free breakfast every morning. Plenty of options and a perfect way to start off the day. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room doors are not very sound proof. That is probably the only bad thing I can say.
