This St Regis is another stunning property for the brand. Its bedroom furnishings are truly to die for and the upkeep of the rooms is simply amazing. The way in which they take the colours, textiles and furnishings to deliver a true luxury experience is very impressive inside the suites. Although some of the furnishings, coffee tables and desks, have been a bit badly beaten over the years on closer inspection. The lobby area is lovely and the stone features, artwork and social environment is really inviting. The only let down of the hotel would be its external spaces. Upon exiting the lobby area towards the pools, is a large open white elephant space that has no meaning, no function and just a baron area that is quite uninviting. As you arrive at the pools, they seem an afterthought for the hotel and don't have amenities or facilities to make the pool side or quick dip, an experience, and more just, as the say, a basic cement pond. The Concierge staff seem to love at they desks, and always seem to be working, so access to planning the perfect day out is well within reach.

We spent almost a week here over the very busy xmas-new years week and it was terrific. We've stayed here a number of times in the past and considering its luxury status (and prices) our expectations have always been understandably high but the hotel often disappointed (service and room). However, this time I feel like the service was stepped up quite a bit. I really feel like they had the appropriate number of employees to deal with the crowd and all were extremely friendly and professional. In the past we often felt as if the hotel hired ski bums simply working to ski but this time it was definitely top notch five star all around. Very friendly staff at the front desk, restaurant and the bar, very helpful and attentive employees in the ski shop. Our room had all the features we found were lacking in the past and it was very comfortable and spacious. You have definitely won us over again and we look forward to returning next ski season!

I have stayed here a few times. Just capped off an amazing 3 days here 10 days ago. There service and location are awesome. It's hard pressed to find any full service hotel in Aspen that rivals this facility. The rooms are fantastic and they are now in midst of doing a Reno in hotel to make it even better. Can't wait to return.

Stayed here for 12 days in January. Have been going to Aspen for many years and normally stay in a condo, but now that the kids are older, hotels are a much better option. We had two connecting rooms facing up the mountain. They were neither too spacious nor too small, but beautifully appointed. Ample closet and drawer space for clothes and ski gear and both had lovely bathrooms with exquisite taps and hardware. My bed was actually very uncomfortable and had a massive dip in the middle but I was always so tired from skiing I couldn't be bothered complaining. I have always loved this hotel and post-renovation it is the epitome of rustic-chic. The bar and lounge area with its roaring fire, are perfect for drinks with friends. The Little Nell is quite a scene and often a bit loud, so I prefer a more subdued apres ski, which the St. Regis excels at. Loved the breakfast every morning, healthy choices and superb quality, especially the fruit. It is everything you would expect from a 5 star, St. Regis resort in terms of service and ammenities. The Spa however, in my opinion, could be more "luxurious" and in keeping with the brand. I actually prefer the Spa at the Viceroy in Snowmass which is absolutely stunning. You also have to pay a USD$20 fee every time you use the Spa which I found petty. Just build it into the cost of the stay... I don't want to be charged when I'm staying on the premises and am already paying a premium. We only used the Spa twice and were mainly interested in the Oxygen room which was very relaxing but again, thought it was a bit exy for a bit of O2 in our lungs. Despite these minor issues, I would stay here again, but next time might choose the Residences for a bit more space which means booking a lot earlier.

I stayed in Feb and July. They were both perfect. We enjoyed the spa and O2 room in Feb and the pool in July. The rooms are spacious and beds are great! The bathrooms are fantastic. The staff is lovely. If you come in winter would highly recommend coming back in the summer. It is even more gorgeous!!!
