My friend and I stayed at this lovely resort for three nights on an b&b basis in the beautiful sunset suite with private pool. The resort is quite spread out on a beautiful peninsula and set on beautiful grounds with well kept gardens and surroundings. The beach is small but very pretty, the sea water very clear. There is a sport centre there and a lovely restaurant which serves very nice local dishes and drinks. Plenty of sun-beds either side of the restaurant. In May not all restaurants are open and we only tried the Italian one ( Il Capitano) which is set on a beautiful spot and has a great terrace. The restaurants are quite pricey ( a glass of wine €15) and this one was in the same league but the food was very tasty and the service very attentive. The breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, Greek yogurts, ham and cheeses and hot food station. You were able to order also hot dishes. I would have liked to see granola amongst the choices and fresh Greek yogurts served in china dishes. The room was very beautiful with a great pool overlooking the sunset ( wanderful views) but was missing a full mirror and a kettle with selection of teas. Every 5 star hotel I have been to or even a 4 star offers this. Therefore I was surprised to discover that they could deliver a kettle but they would charge for the teas. Also we had to request an iron and ironing board which they said they don’t normally offer! All in all a nice resort set in beautiful position only 45 m from Athens and 20 m from the airport. I would recommend having a car so that you can explore the surrounding areas.

Just returned from one week’s stay at the hotel, and have only good things to say. It was amazing! The customer service, across all sectors of the hotel, was exemplary. Too many names to remember, but on Reception/Guest Relations - Panus, Katarina, Gelly. Eli in the Spa. I had a lovely upper back and head massage. Aphrodite restaurant for breakfast. The choice of food and drink for breakfast was outstanding, and well presented and good quality. We ate lunch most days in the Mediterranean seafront restaurant. Again, the staff and food was faultless. We stayed in one of the Mediterranean Seaview rooms. What a view! All in all, a perfect stay. 6* 😀

I was visiting on a business trip and had some free time, so I approached the Guest Relations department to inquire about booking some activities — specifically a boat excursion. The first staff member I interacted with, a woman with red hair, seemed confused and unprepared to assist. The interaction quickly became uncomfortable, as she not only failed to provide the information I needed but also raised her voice and made it seem as though the confusion was my fault. Hoping for a better experience, I returned a few days later to speak with the department manager — I believe her name was Kelly or Gelly. Unfortunately, the interaction was again disappointing. She came across as passive-aggressive, unwelcoming, and lacking basic courtesy. As a guest at a property that’s part of The Leading Hotels of the World, I expect a higher standard of professionalism and hospitality. Unfortunately, the Guest Relations department left a very poor impression this time and had a negative impact on my overall experience.

I spent 2 nights at Grand Hotel Lagonissi on a business trip and I would give it not 10 out of 10 but 11 out of 10 . An amazing property with excellent food and plenty of restaurants within the complex. I literally could not stop eating. Kohylia Japanese Restaurant was one of the best experiences in my life. I booked a Sunset Villa with a private pool room and I literally did not want to leave the hotel. I also visited the other room types , every single one is spacious with beautiful views. This is truly a proper 5-star luxury hotel. Athens city centre is about 1 hour by car. The beach is super clean and quiet. The staff are constantly available for any assistance you could imagine. I really enjoyed my stay and I’m already looking forward to going back. Truly recommend it to everyone, couples, families, adults only, business occasions.
