Hilton Athens in Athens, Greece
Completely redesigned in honor of the 2004 Olympic Games, the Hilton Athens is a contemporary landmark in a city renowned for its ancient monuments. Because the hotel faces the Acropolis, many of its elegantly modern guestrooms feature spectacular views. All accommodations boast private balconies, and the chic rooftop Galaxy Bar also gazes over the city. Four restaurants offer a variety of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, while the Sports and Wellness Academy offers stylish unwinding, spa treatments and the largest outdoor pool in the city.
This striking hotel resides on one of Athens' most fashionable avenues, opposite the National Art Gallery and just minutes from city center. While the views of the Acropolis are breathtaking, particularly at night, you'll surely want to encounter it Acropolis up close with a stroll that begins at Hadrian's Arch. Enjoy a taste of ancient history at National Archaeological Museum, the pleasant evening air with a promenade through the National Gardens, and a cooling drink in one of the lively Plaka cafés.

Reviews for Hilton Athens
Good location. Convenient to the metro station and within walking distance from tourist areas, but I am a walker. You can walk to the Acropolis, markets, and University. I don't think any were more than 2 miles. Decent restaurants close by. Access to everything was always easy, convenient, and safe. I am Hilton Gold and the service was perfect. Check in process was fast, polite and professional. Arrived early so room was not ready. Quickly taken care of. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms spotless. Internet connection was more than adequate. Even number rooms get an Acropolis view. Odds get the city view. I was on 11th Floor which has the Executive Lounge. I had an odd room, but never missed out on the view thanks to the lounge. Lounge was always active and could always get a drink or nibble. They did not have a concierge, but the Lounge Staff was extremely helpful, personable and attentive. Taxi was 38 Euro flat fee to the airport, 55 Euro before 5 am. Half hour ride. Very happy with my stay and service.

A wonderful Hotel to stay and recharge during a whirlwind trip of Greece and its beauties. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the amenities and service second to none. The Executive Lounge was also handy for that little extra cost.

The Hilton Athens hotel has become one of my very favorite properties worldwide. It's a combination of the staff, great restaurants, walkable neighborhood and wonderful rooftop Galaxy Bar that do it for me. There are several dining choices at the hotel - all of whom feature great options. With in a block or two there are quite a few local restaurant options as well. The Metro/Subway is a 5 minute walk from the hotel - and Syntagma Square is only 15 minutes away by foot.

Simply fantastic stay at the Athens Hilton. Great location, smart modern accommodation/rooms and simply amazing staff all-round who are only too happy to help! This was my second visit this year at the hotel and it is consistently the best hotel in Athens, in my opinion!

We stayed for a 4 day trip at the Hilton Athens. This hotel is iconic for the city and known as a place where a lot of local celebrities and politicians come to socialize and meet. It is a beautiful, well maintained hotel with great staff, who go out of their way to make you comfortable during your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and offer an incredible view over the Acropolis. If you find the time during your stay, a visit to the roof top bar is highly recommended, with even better views! The breakfast selection is the best I have ever had at an hotel, with a great mix of international breakfast items and local delicacies! If you ever decide to go to Athens, this is the place to be!
