Hilton Athens in Athens, Greece
Completely redesigned in honor of the 2004 Olympic Games, the Hilton Athens is a contemporary landmark in a city renowned for its ancient monuments. This striking hotel resides on one of Athens' most fashionable avenues, opposite the National Art Gallery and just minutes from city center. While the views of the Acropolis are breathtaking, particularly at night, you'll surely want to encounter it Acropolis up close with a stroll that begins at Hadrian's Arch. Enjoy a taste of ancient history at National Archaeological Museum, the pleasant evening air with a promenade through the National Gardens, and a cooling drink in one of the lively Plaka cafés.

Reviews for Hilton Athens
Stayed here while speaking at an event, which was hosted in the same hotel. The hotel was clean, room was spacious, everything worked well (there was an iron in the room!). Staff were generally helpful and polite, if a little under-represented occasionally. Particularly appreciated their help in tracking down missing luggage - it is very useful to have native speakers around for this! Have to admit I didn't notice the street noise on the 5th floor. The conference venue was also excellent - stage and screen fitted well into the room for the well-attended event. Perhaps the highlight was a chance to pop up to the Galaxy bar at the top of the hotel - well after the event at 11pm at night, in case my boss reads this - where the views are amazing. Downsides? Few and far between. If you're after the tourist sights, the stroll into town might be a bit on the long side for some. But to be honest I enjoy a nice walk...

I wouldn't usually bother to review a Hilton because they speak for themselves but this was a really good hotel. There's a terrific indoor pool in the basement, the staff on the front desk are great and the views out over the Acropolis are magnificent.

Stayed for 2 nights for a business meeting. Very centrally located in Athens. Fabulous airy lobby, great rooms and delicious food. We had luxury of the use of executive lounge where you could have breakfast with an Acropolis view. Conference facilities were contemporary. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negatives were lack of free wifi in rooms and overall very expensive prices.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The service, the food, the room, the view from the room, all excellent. I have earplugs made to fit my ears, the reduce noise levels by almost 30DB but even then I woke up at 5 or 6 every morning because of the traffic noise. I really hate this to reflect negatively on this great hotel but if you can't sleep properly...... you can't be in shape either. I think the noise is less when you have no street view but balancing the view on the Acropolis and the noise is not an easy thing to do.

Staff, rooms, view, location were all fabulous! Great walk out balcony with view of Acropolis! As well as spectacular view from roof top bar. Would definitely recommend this location to others for leisure or work.
