Reviews for The Georgian Terrace

Great Location. Lovely Staff. Clean and comfortable.

Place is perfectly situated and has some great historic charm. One bathroom in a two bedroom room with 2 couples is a bit of a challenge. Staff are lovely and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s clean and comfortable but not a lot of additional amenities.

Great Customer Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the Shaky Knees Music Festival and the first night the AC in room 502 messed up. The next day we talked to Jada at the front desk and the maintenance guy checked it out. Within a hour or so after confirming it couldn’t be fixed she hooked us up with a better room and personally made sure the AC was good to go. No questions asked. Great customer service. The proximity to the festival was the reason we chose to stay here but the customer service really made this a great choice overall.

Pleasant surprise in beautiful, historic downtown

Nessa and Fojan greeted us warmly and upgraded us to a penthouse! The PH was two stories, incredibly spacious, fully appointed with all you could need. The panoramic views of the city are unmatched! Great service, beautiful suite, highly recommend!

Friendly staff

Thembela is a goddess. She is so amiable and friendly while checking me in and I immediately felt at home. I was so in need of laundry because the hotel I stayed last two nights didn't have one. Thembela was trying her best to help me and made an accommodation. She saved my day. I am so grateful and blessed! Definitely recommend this place!

Residential - not fit for purpose - avoid

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Residential series is not fit for purpose. After being moved 3 times, we got a room as advertised with a kitchen but it had no cutlery or crockery, kettle or toaster. We were told we needed a “kitchen pack” which when it arrived consisted of 4 plates, a few pots and pans, 2 knives, a few forks and not much else. The fridge freezer was not even cold. We moved the food to the freezer and after 2 days, not even the water was frozen. Then the freezer started blowing hot! The place is not really that clean and we couldn’t get a glass for the room. It feels it’s 100 year old heritage and not in a good way. The phone in the room is an ornament as never once did I manage to get hold of the concierge or housekeeping, it goes to voicemail! The staff are pleasant but not effective. It’s like there is no Management that cares. I will avoid this place if I ever return to Atlanta.
