Business meeting. Rooms are spacious and bright. Great linens and shower. Adequate gym. Food service for meeting was well above average. Didn't get a chance to use pool, but it appeared clean.

Our stay was flawless all except the mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. We had a beautiful view of the rock face waterfall and the bed linens were clean and comfy. The mold was a bit worrisome. We were at a business conference, so did not have time to mess with changing rooms. The room was spotless all but that. Supposing the cleaning staff does not look up.

This location has served my needs well for the past three years. They are currently in the middle of a renovation and I was fortunate to stay in a room that had been renovated, and it took my stay from what I expected, which is already great to an exceeding level of greatness. I also had the pleasure of seeing the sweets, and they are exquisite to say the least.

The location of the hotel is great. It's within a few blocks walking distance to the MARTA station and nearby several excellent restaurants. The hotel is undergoing room renovations but we didn't hear a single noise our entire stay. We stayed in a Grand Suite and it was an excellent room. Large bathroom, living room, great bedroom and excellent view of downtown. We didn't have a balcony on our room but they looked great if you can snag one. The pool area was large and the water was decent, just not as warm as we hoped for a heated pool. Our biggest disappointment was the Club Lounge. They ran out of a majority of the already very limited food choices within the first 30 min - 1 hour of each meal time and not restocked. Breakfast was your typical continental options but honestly you get better breakfasts at a Hampton Inn or Hyatt Place. There were limited snacks to chips and cookies throughout the day and then evening hors d'oeuvres were minimal. Alcohol is NOT free at this location and very expensive. It sounds like this hotel went through a management/owner change recently and it's apparent it took a turn for the worse. I brought up our Club Lounge issues at checkout and the desk clerk seemed uninterested. The staff in the lounge is great, and I felt bad that they were taking the brunt of other unhappy guests voicing their frustration. If the lounge is important (or you pay extra for it), you should stay across the street at the Intercontinental, it's phenomenal!

I’ve been coming to the Hyatt in Buckhead for about 5 out of the last 10 years. I have the privilege of attending one of the world’s largest art conferences, the art of the portrait hosted by the Portrait Society at the Hyatt every other year. There’s a banquet and I have some food issues. Every year, the staff go out of their way to make sure my plate is gorgeous and delicious and it doesn’t seem to bother them at all even though they’re serving 800 people. This year almost immediately after arriving I locked myself out of my room and the staff in the hallway went out of their way to make sure, I was who I said I was to protect myself and my belongings that were in the room and to act as quickly as possible to get me back downstairs to the conference where I belong. The Hyatt accommodates the conference flawlessly with their beautiful atrium and gorgeous balconies, and you can even see people who are not in the conference still enjoying themselves. It’s a beautiful hotel and run like clockwork.
