Reviews for The St. Regis Atlanta

Fabulous family weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Just spent three lovely nights here.. I don’t how how someone could say this is not a luxury hotel. Been to them all and St Regis is at the top of the list.. They are able to create an intimate setting within a large hotel!! How? First with the personalized, warm , attentive service! Prosecco and Macaroons when you check in.. A warm welcome by Sundae at the front desk! Fabulous concierge service By Marc Michelle and a luxurious St Regis suite! The pool service is immediate and attentive. Our breakfast server Alexandra had a.warm smile each morning. This is THE place to stay in Atlanta!!

Not a luxury hotel anymore

Having been a longtime legacy Starwood Platinum member and a lifetime titanium member with Marriott I would have to say service and quality standards have decreased across the board but the St Regis Atlanta is severely lacking. With the upgrades to the property even considering how COVID impacted all hotels. the staff runs the property like a 2-3 star economy hotel. All of the previous staff who made the St Regis Atlanta a destination and luxurious hotel seemed to have moved up and unfortunately didn't give the memo to the new management team. I don't feel the need to ever stay at this hotel ever again as the St Regis brand across the other locations I have visited around the world hasn't gone down in quality like this location.

Housekeeping never showed up

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I did have a disappointing experience with service in my room. After a long work day, I took a shower in my room and tried to use the hair dryer, which didn't work. I called housekeeping, which told me confidently that someone would be up with a new hair dryer in a few mins. No one ever showed up and 30 mins later, I called again and shared that since it was late, I was just going to go to sleep at that point. I did ask why no one ended up coming despite having told me they would, and the staff member said they were really busy with requests. Which is not a problem, but then calling me back or telling me it would take some time would be appreciated so I could plan. Though a 30+ mins wait / no show is disappointing. This was at 11:30 pm. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.

Best Lux Hotel in Atlanta (No Question)

Amazing trip. One of my favorite properties to stay at while in Atlanta GA. Staff, food, drinks and house car, all 5 star and beyond treatment. I can go on and talk about the personal touches from the ice cream Sundays to the lounge, the list goes on and on. I would not stay anywhere else in Buckhead, GA.

Disgusting and awful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Went for Afternoon Tea. We have been to Afternoon and/or High Tea on several occasions, mostly in England, but also another place in Atlanta. Anyway, this tea was horrible! The “sandwiches” weren’t actually traditional tea sandwiches- they were some weird “gourmet” version of what the chef thought would be a fancy version, but all of them tasted like mud. And the sweets all tasted like nothing. So between the cost of the tea, the tip, the valet fee and tip, we spent over $225 for food that we found to be inedible.
