The Buffdet at "8" is aweful
Service was good - with the exception of the concierge - he was rude and unhelpful - the opposite of what a good concierge should be!). The rooms in the executive level are nice as is the executive lounge. But the dining experience at "8 restaurant" was very disappointing, especially for the price - nothing like what is described on the hotels website. 2/10

Stay in April
I had a truly wonderful experience and felt compelled to share my appreciation. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism while still making me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. The facilities were well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the commitment to ensuring every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. More Than Expected
I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the internet access was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and well-prepared options. I would also like to commend a Korean female staff member at the breakfast buffet counter—she was very professional, welcoming, and guided us clearly, which made the experience even more pleasant. As a Korean who enjoys sauna culture back home, I was pleasantly surprised to find a similar experience at the hotel. It was something I did not expect, and it made my stay even more memorable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Well worth a visit. Excellent stay
We had a Club Guest room,which was spacious with a kitchenette, and a large bathroom.Staff were happy, friendly and professional. The Club Room is excellent, with comfortable seating and the added bonus of afternoon tea and canapés each day of the stay. The only minus, would be the location—a considerable walk to the City Centre. However, this is no problem as there is a free shuttle. We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel for your Auckland visit.
