Cordis, Auckland

Club lounge and Restaurants were Fantastic. Unfortunately check in and Cordis delights did not meet expectations. The room was not available at check in time and the extra delights ordered for our honeymoon were not delivered to the room on arrival. When we return later that night they had been sitting out and unfortunately were not of acceptable quality.

Still inconsistent, poor check in, pool area uncontrolled and almost dangerous with adults and children jumping/bombing/diving, Food in club average but staff great.

A top notch hotel and a wonderful experience overall. Beautiful premises and ambiance and a central location.

Great as always, service and rooms impeccable. Only fault was the new Cordis complementary shuttle, it doesn’t have space for prams, wheelchairs, walkers and mobility aids for guests who may have additional needs. This led to some guests not being able to use it 🙁🙁🙁. Otherwise amazing team and service.

This is a very comfortable hotel in uptown. We arrived at 06.00 due to our night flight and they generously allowed us to access a room which they also upgraded to one a little bigger. We were really appreciative of that. Excellent customer service! The bed and pillows were really comfortable with nice quality linen. You get bottled water on arrival and then a water cooler at the end of each corridor for refilling. Fridge with mini bar, kettle and tea/coffee and good bathroom toiletries. Safe. Tv with international channels. Overall the corridors were really quiet although when we did have a neighbour we realised how thin the walls are! The hotel is a long way down (or up!) to and from the water front, but the hotel provides a free shuttle service both ways every hour every day (last return 21.15) which mitigates this obstacle. My Wi-Fi access kept throwing me out although my husband didn’t have this problem. Friendly staff.
