Couples getaway - birthday dinner at Eight
Had the absolute best time celebrating our birthday’s this evening. Molly from Eight Restaurant is an absolute star and her service, manaakitanga and warmth elevated our experience to one that we won’t be forgetting any time soon! The world will be a better place if there were a million more Mollys in it!

Enjoyable family luxury stay
Pros- great suite room. Excellent club lounge with fantastic views, food and cocktails. Lovely pool. Kids loved the buffet breakfast , especially the chocolate fountains! Valet parking was prompt. Cons- queues at check in. Room still not ready an hour after check in time (this was eventually resolved after requesting another room- and we were given an upgrade to an amazing room). Also had to wait a while for a table at breakfast. Service was mixed- some excellent friendly and professional staff but some not quite as good service compared to the Cordis Hong Kong. Overall would stay again and recommend.

Couple of nights at Cordis
First time staying at this hotel. Beautiful facility. Great location. Awesome cafes and food options near by. The spa and pool was stunning. We had a low key room but I could just imagine how amazing the top rooms would be. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Better options in Auckland
It’s not a bad hotel, the location isn’t great if you want to experience Aucklands shopping and food . It’s in the middle of the Auckland Uni campus’s

Our first choice in Auckland
When travelling with kids this is our first choice. The kids love it. Despite being overrun with families it doesn’t feel crowded or noisy. The pool is great and the kids keep asking when we are going back
