Room not ready until 7pm
Did not enjoy our recent stay. Our second room wasn't ready until 7pm, and we were told different things by different staff. One said they will send someone to relocate us to another lever where 2 rooms were available, however after packing back up, we then had the keys for the original 2nd room delivered. It was really frustrating as the room should have been ready by 3. Upon checkout we were charged an additional $608 incorrectly however no one notified me of the error or explained the refund process. I did not even receive an invoice.The staff then short changed me on the refund. It was just a really frustrating experience having to be the one chasing an explanation for their error. It should have been proactive on their part.

The Best!!
Top notch hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean, as was the rest of the facility. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable. Great food and a tremendous variety. The hotel ran a shuttle to the downtown area that was easy to use. I cannot say enough about Ralph and the Concierge team. They went way out of their way to help us find our missing luggage.

Club Lounge was a zoo - avoid
Booked this hotel as we’d previously had an amazing stay at their Hong Kong hotel , Club Level. Had a bad start. Despite check in being advertised as being from 3pm we had to sit around until 5pm before our room was ready, Room was lovely. Clean & a spacious bathroom . Then we went to the lounge for the evening drinks & snacks, It was like a crèche. Kids screaming & running riot . Staff not addressing the situation with the parents. Worst lounge experience in a long while. Food offering was good & the staff attentive & refreshing drinks , however we left after an hour with a head ache, Breakfast selection was one of the best we’d seen . Management need to consider restricting children to pre 6pm in the Club Lounge so that adult clients can enjoy the relaxed pre dinner drink that they have paid a premium for.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent location to explore Auckland. Staff are highly professional and helpful. Excellent food, service and cleanliness. Would definitely stay here again.
