Hotel is located in a great location for exploring the city and beyond. But it’s the staff that I met that made it such a memorable trip. Kate and Pauline’s team in the bar were amazing, a special thanks to Khusboo, Shiva and Nat for their service and personalities that made it a fun visit there, also some great advice on where to go, great service and professionalism from them. Anna and Haruka, were both great hostesses at breakfast, every morning I was met by them with a warm smile and greeting and friendly service, they were a perfect start to the day before going to work and for always remembering my tea order even when I forgot to ask!! It was early!! Finally to all the staff at the concierge desk for assisting me with my endless requests for help with my printing work documents!! A great front desk team, thank you. As always you can have the fanciest hotel in the world but if you don’t have the right staff then it’s worthless, you won’t be disappointed with the staff here, very attentive and they made my stay as good as it was, thank you and I hope to see you again soon.

Great hotel because it is in a great location - just minutes away from the harbour and other holiday sites, the staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are very well looked after, so well done !!

My wife and I arrived after the long flight from San Francisco. Needless to say, we wanted a place to unwind before joining our tour. The hotel is wonderfully positioned in the heart of downtown. The rooms were nice and clean and very much needed after the long flight. Only two minor problems. The dinner was underwhelming and there was a large group of young people from Japan there that were extremely noisy. Aside from that, things were fine.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. It was in a great location. The noise factor needs to be addressed. The walls must be thin. I could hear voices in the next room. The loud noise from street in the middle of the night from club goers spilling on to the street. The club was street level across the street from my room keeping me awake. Others in my tour group were also awakened by the late night street noise.

Overall the hotel was a disappointment. The mini bar was missing items which weren't replaced so we had to make sure we were not charged. T bags etc were not replaced either for our second night stay. The shower was not clean with grout looking dirty and unscrubbed. Service for carparking, greeting and bed make up was excellent but the small things took the edge off our stay.
