Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

Awesome nature and a beautiful resort, but the real value of this place comes from the passion, dedication, and genuine commitment of the staff. People like Sittu, Tini, Nimal, and Ricky made us feel truly pampered, welcomed, and completely relaxed throughout our stay. A very special thanks goes to the amazing chef (sorry I don’t recall the name) of Spice and Sea and his entire team. Through their talent and passion, they took us on an incredible culinary journey, allowing us to experience the flavors and traditions of the Maldives, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and China — all without ever leaving our table. Thank you for making our stay not just a holiday, but a truly memorable experience.

Our time at AKV was absolutely wonderful—the overwater villas were stunning, the views breathtaking, the dining excellent, and the service top-notch. The snorkeling was fantastic; we were lucky enough to spot manta rays on our snorkeling excursion, and my eldest son and I had a great time fishing—he caught three fish with the captain's help! A huge thank you to Kiki for her outstanding work—she made our vacation even more relaxing and enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!

The hotel itself is nicely designed especially over water villa. Spacious room, private swimming pool, hammock over the water, and big swing bed. Excellent breakfast. But, coming after trying other Maldives resorts made this hotel at lower rank in my list. I didn't like the seaplane experience, the speedboat to other hotels are easier, smoother, and less time wasting. The checkout tome is controlled by the seaplane unlike when you go by speedboat where you can leave in suitable time to your international flight. I also did not like the fact that only two restaurants are included in the half board plan, and these two are not up to my taste. The other non included restaurants are very expensive. The dive centre lacks any seating facility or storing facility, I had to throw my belongings on the sand while I went for snorkeling. There are no daytime activities for those who don't want to swim, activities that are free and enjoyable like towels art.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our wonderful butler, Kiki, for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. Kiki was always warm, attentive, patient, and incredibly professional. She paid close attention to every detail, anticipated our needs, and was always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. From our daily arrangements and restaurant reservations to making our birthday celebration extra special, she made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. What touched us most was not only her exceptional service, but also her genuine kindness and care. Meeting someone as thoughtful and dedicated as Kiki made our stay truly memorable. We sincerely thank Kiki for everything she did for us and for creating such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. She is truly a wonderful ambassador of hospitality!
