Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

We stayed for two nights in May. We had a good and relaxing stay, just enough to unwind from work’s hustle and bustle. We mostly stayed in our villa coz honestly it was perfect and we just really wanted to rest. Our butler, Shameen was great. He was very responsive and accommodating. He helped us get a medicine for my boyfriend’s ear infection. Special thanks to the IVD and housekeeping staff for accommodating our requests.

We arrived at Anantara Kihavah with high expectations, and it surpassed them in every way. The island is as beautiful as you’d imagine of the Maldives, but what stood out was how cared for everything felt: the grounds, the spacious and spotless villas, and a level of comfort that made it easy to settle in from day one. We made the most of the water experiences: diving and several snorkeling tours. Wildlife is never guaranteed, but we were lucky enough to have three successful tours out of three that we booked: turtles, manta rays, and nurse sharks. The house reef is one of the best places we’ve ever snorkeled, and we went back to it every day. We didn’t have a single weak meal. Everything was excellent, and dinner at SEA is absolutely worth the investment. What truly made the stay special, though, was how welcome we felt. A special thank you to our villa host, Zidhan: warm and helpful, while always giving us space. He made everything feel easy without ever hovering. We’re also so grateful to everyone else who elevated our stay: Sasha and Korlarp from the management team, who welcomed us so warmly on arrival; Dilmi, Ricky and Toppu, who greeted us every morning at breakfast and made us feel genuinely looked after (including the loveliest pancake send-off on our last day!); Maya, Reehaan and Muaa at dinner, who took such gentle care of us each evening; Jasmine, Ari, Kama, Igor and Ahmed at the dive centre, who made our activities feel special and personal; Mike and Guerbi at the recreation centre, who were always so friendly when we came for workouts or outdoor activities; and Muaa from housekeeping, who crossed paths with us a few times, along with his colleagues whose names we didn’t catch, but who we are equally thankful for. One of the things that surprised us most was how many people knew our names. That kind of care says everything about how this team looks after its guests. These are only some of the wonderful people we met at Kihavah. We’re already thinking about when we’ll be back. This stay was worth every cent, we can’t recommend it highly enough. Joana & Sebastian

We had the chance to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary at Anantara Kihavah, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the reservation process until the end of our stay, everything was seamless and professionally handled. Special thanks to Arriane from Reservations, who helped us plan our stay and introduced us to all the special inclusions for our celebration, and to Zidhan, our Villa Host, who took care of our activities and reservations from Day 1. He was always attentive, flexible, and quick to assist with any request or change in schedule. The resort made our celebration even more special with beautiful room decorations and a complimentary one-night upgrade to an Over Water Pool Villa, allowing us to experience both the Beach Pool Villa and Over Water Pool Villa. A big thank you as well to Toppu from Plates, Chef Jun-jun from FIRE, Jenif from Manzaru, and Fegey and Almas from SPICE. Their warm and friendly service made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Our complimentary four-course lunch at SEA Underwater Restaurant was another unforgettable highlight. The food was exceptional, and dining underwater surrounded by marine life was an experience we will always remember. Overall, Kihavah gave us exactly what we were looking for a relaxing luxury vacation with excellent service, amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and a stunning house reef. Thank you to the entire Anantara Kihavah team for making our birthday and anniversary celebration so special. You exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return someday with our family.

Our stay at Anantara Kihavah was truly unforgettable. We chose this beautiful resort to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be such a special experience for both of us. Everything was smooth from the moment we made our reservation until the end of our stay. Every meal was excellent, and we especially want to thank Chef Jun Jun for making our dining experience even more memorable. The underwater SEA restaurant was also an incredible experience and definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning beaches, clear water, and an amazing house reef full of marine life. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Maldives. What made Kihavah truly special, however, was the people. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and professional, and their genuine hospitality made us feel very well taken care of. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generosity of the resort throughout our stay. The complimentary experiences, special arrangements, and little surprises made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Anantara Kihavah gave us exactly the kind of vacation we were hoping for—beautiful surroundings, incredible food, thoughtful service, and plenty of unforgettable moments together. We came here to celebrate two special occasions, but we left with memories that will stay with us for many years. Overall, it was a good relaxing holiday , the villa was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkelling excursions. The snorkelling was good at the house reef itself. The underwater restaurant dining is a must do. The service was impeccable.
