Luxuriate in the harmony of eco-friendly Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte, a Brazilian member of prestigious Preferred Hotels & Resorts. This stunning resort is located north of Salvador in the Bahia region of Brazil, is known for its exotic touches, breathtaking scenery and endless tranquility. Chic guestrooms, housed in low-slung buildings and crowned with thatched roofs, have minimalist and uncluttered design. Warm-wood finishes, cool tile floors, and freestanding tubs add more than a hint of style. Views of swaying palm trees, lush green landscapes, and brilliant Brazilian sunshine spill in through wide windows. Spend a lazy afternoon napping atop a hammock on your private balcony.

large resort in a nice location about an hour north of salvador. has several restaurants, a large gym and wellness area, watersports and even some historic ruins of an old whaling hub. watch out for the little monkeys!

Loved the stay here. Yes, it is not a cheap place to stay but friendly staff, amazing room location and plentiful activities all made them worthy in my family's opinion. Super recommended for families with toddlers/kids. My toddler enjoyed our week stay there!

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is super nice. The beach is beautiful, the attendants and waiters are attentive, and there are many options for your kids to enjoy. All in all a great setting. What bothered me in this stay, is how this is sold (and priced) as a luxury hotel when it is not. The hotel is more than 40 years old and the rooms are refurbished and good, but nothing luxury about even the "deluxe" category. The restaurant serves decent food for the price of a Michelin star restaurant. Anyway, if you have small kids probably still worth a visit. The people (attendants, waiters, nanny and overall hotel crew) are a strength. No plans on returning though.
