Use to be a great hotel to stay at in Surfside, but as you can see, the elevators are past inspection by about 10 months (7/31/2023). The elevators get stuck and don’t move when you board them. Quite frankly, a big safety issue and unacceptable for a four star hotel. It is a known issue among hotel housekeeping and staff, but it seems like a norm to them. For someone who has frequented several Grand Beach locations since 2014, I think it’s time to start searching for a new place for my stays.

I would like to start by saying this property is AMAZING. I had the most amazing experience. Mark went above and beyond to help me whenever I had questions or concerns and was always willing to help. Julie the front desk agent was helpful as well.

I would have to say first my experience this vacation was nothing short of miraculous. Rietgerd R was like no other front Manager that I’ve ever experience, My group was greeted with smile, he was very knowledgeable professional, and willing to move around the resort to assist his guest. This was my second time staying with you all, and will return again.

The reception of my family was very bad. We paid an extra day and gave notice to the hotel to check in early on the following day, but the rooms were not ready when we arrived. They forgot to give us wristbands when we checked in, causing complications when we tried getting pool towels. My hallway floor was smelling like weed every morning for 3 days. Housekeeping service was poor. They did not properly take the trash out, and left the bathrobe unfold on the bed. In addition, the mini fridge beverages were not replaced during the room service. However, Etty, the restaurant waiter, was the sweetest person, with an outstanding service.

Horrible service, like I've never experienced before! we made a reservation for 4 people, however the hotel allowed the reservation (for 4 registered adults) to be for a room with just one king bed. to make matters worse, attendants who are extremely poorly trained to deal with this type of situation, being rude, disrespectful, impatient and ironic! Supervisor Richard Ras appeared extremely rude, stating that this was our problem, as we saw a family with the same problem being served directly by him! result? we paid the additional amount that the hotel forced us to pay!
