Reviews for Amanusa
This hotel is the template for excellence. The arrival and welcome is magnificent. Drinks are offered immediately. The bags vanish in seconds. You're offered a seat, and the staff bring the paperwork to you. The manager, Mark, introduced himself and gave us his card... "If there's anything we can do etc." Staff smile and say hello. The food is top grade - in the restaurant and rooms. The villas are spectacular... beautifully constructed, spacious, immaculate. There's a large bath, an indoor shower, an outdoor shower, a swimming pool. The rooms are serviced throughout the day. The main pool area is magnificent. This place is a masterclass in quality, care, professionalism.

Amanusa is a beautiful hotel however I would not go back sadly. There is little to do actually on sight that is resort worthy. Its in the centre of Nusa Dua surrounded by other hotels and a few convenient stores. To go to the beach you must take a car for 5-8 minutes and its only a patch of beach jammed right between other resorts beach area so very little privacy. It was just my son and I and we didn't feel that it quite had down that Aman perfection that one expects from the brand. I guess if you are an avid golfer this could be an upside but if you are coming for a relaxing beach holiday I would definitely stay at Amankila.

Considering the price for accommodation, our expectations were very high; they were exceeded by far! If you want to be pampered to the extreme, don't hesitate to make your reservation. We stayed in no. 23 with a very nice view of the Ocean in the distance over the resort grounds and the golf course. NOTHING here disappointed; it was worth every penny.

This was our first time here. I had stayed previously at Amankila and absolutely loved it. This trip we went back a second time to Amankila and then stayed at Amanusa for 2 nights to see how it was. My wife and I both loved our stay here. The villa was wonderful and we actually liked it more than the villa at Amankila. The service, as we always expect from an Aman resort was impeccable. The manager, Michel met us when we first arrived and was very warm and friendly. Every single staff member was warm and friendly, the way that the Balinese are known for. We stayed to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and Michel made sure that we had a great stay. So many nice extra touches, like a chocolate cake, flowers, etc. It was a special event and we had a memorable stay there. Two nights was too short. We will be back, that is for sure.

This is one of Aman's beautiful properties in Bali, Indonesia. We were here two nights en route to Raja Ampat on the Aman Cruises, Amanikan. We have also stayed in Amandari (ubud- not so great) and the amankila (average). The pool is beautiful and well thought of. They have a private beach access and they will take you on a little buggy. The beach was ok, super quiet but nothing happening, The neighbourhood is Nusa Dua so the closest area for dining is Jimbaran. we did go around the area but unfortunately, it's all resorts. The food was great for both lunch and dinner. The Indonesian cuisine is good. Aman is known for their staff and I loved the attention to detail and to the guests. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely return.
