Best hotel I’ve been to, from the staff to the rooms is just perfection. We didn’t have anything to complain about what so ever, I will definitely be coming back & if I stay in Seminyak again, I will 100% no doubt stay here again. A fairly tired hotel. Noisey due to it being on a building site .Spoiled our honeymoon so we moved.The hotel wouldn’t refund our 10 day booking due to this.Very sad experience all round. The hotel massage however was wonderful as were the reception staff.

We rarely stay at big resort hotels these days preferring small boutique hotels. However, this is a lovely hotel with excellent facilities. We spent 12 nights here in a sea-facing suite on the 3rd floor (of 3 floors) which was very spacious as was the bathroom. We had a shower and an internal jacuzzi bath overlooking the sea as well as a small balcony. The room was well appointed as was my son’s double room which overlooked the gardens. There is a road running behind the suites which can be somewhat noisy but it didn’t spoil our stay. Breakfast is excellent with a huge choice from a buffet. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the staff. They are all so lovely and cannot do enough for their guests. Every staff member you meet in whatever capacity greets you warmly and you are made to feel very special. The hotel holds special dinners a couple of times a week and there are several free activities such as yoga and cookery classes. The gardens are very pretty and beautifully maintained. There is a large infinity pool overlooking the beach and a separate pool bar and a restaurant overlooking the beach. If I had one small criticism, it would be that some of the decor needs updating. Otherwise I would be more than happy to return here. Brendan, the General Manager is more than willing to listen to problems and suggestions and is a high profile presence in the hotel. We liked the peace and quiet of the pool. My son and I stayed at the W last time we came to Bali which has a very cool and younger vibe but the Seminyak Resort suited us very well. I would have no hesitation in recommending it and its exceptional staff.

I stayed at this lousy Anantara seminyak recently from Oct 16th to 19th 2023 with our group of couple friends thus had 3 rooms over looking the ocean. The only good thing about this hotel was the rooms which was well decorated & spacious , but the veranda had cracked old marble bath tub & flooring, which gave it a non classy look. ( see pics) In short & brief , I am a member of the Anantara hotels for some time now & have had the privilege of staying at many of their lovely hotels with in Thailand (since i live in Bangkok now ) & in Maldives/Sri Lanka etc. But have never been so utterly disappointed with an Anantara hotel chain as i & our group were at this Seminyak one. This is a very old old property, not well maintained from any standards , needs polishing , repairs & refurbishments of all areas , such as the entrance , small reception desk areas, veranda, flooring, lifts & all places in the hotel including the pool area WC etc which was filthy , messy & awful. This hotel property lacks facilities with just one restaurant mostly (where you are served breakfast as well & a dingy roof top bar with a view - it is also right in the heart of a very commercial crowded Seminyak beach, thus has no such proper grand entrance to the hotel. The pics on their website don't give us this idea as otherwise i would have never booked this hotel, but since i was an Anantara Discovery chain member I didn’t give it a 2nd thought and booked this hotel but only to get my group disappointed on check in & during our stay. On top of this the hotel insisted on taking advance payment from us before we arrived - mind you we paid $375 per night for each room thus we did ask for a refund after the first night & before so we could check in at another nicer resort at the “W” or “Alilia” hotel near by , however the hotel refused to let this happen. Also when me & my wife checked in after a tiring trip travelling to Bali, we found out while actually being in our toilet that the flush wasn’t working (you can imagine how stranded it was), then found out that our room phone wasn't working either - so we had to actually go down & tell the reception on these problems, after which their team tried to fix it for the next hour & eventually had to change our room only. Being an Anantara member I didn’t find this a good hotel attitude & service by giving us such a room before any checks & balances, so asked for speaking to their hotel GM later but only to find out that the GM had already resigned & it was now run by the lady beverage manager Miss Puspa I think, who was very kind & eventually agreed to refund my first nights charges only. All in all this hotel was no where close to a 5 star hotel chain we had booked but simply i'd say a 3.5 stars but at 5 star plus prices. I have also enclosed some hotel pics for everyone, thus would not recommend staying at this hotel. I am just very shocked & surprised why Anantara has its name on this property as gives it a very bad image. Irshad Adamjee Nov 2023 (Karachi - Bangkok)

Everything was good accept Food ,this is because we are vegetarian & they don't have that much option for Veg so if they can provide vegetarian food then it will be good .Value for Money & location...
