This resort is beyond our expectations. Villas, hospitality, food, spa services, along with each and every team member in this resort was top notch. There is nothing where we can say it requires improvement. We truly appreciate all the team Members at Commune restaurant including chefs who were able to accommodate all of our dietary requirements. Thank you Lofan and Nitya & team for your services. Thank you Angelychen & team for always being there for any requests. All we can say from our side - THANK YOU. We can’t wait to come back and stay at this property again and we will truly recommend anyone to visit this property. Property is well maintained and kept up To date. If you are looking for privacy, this is place where there is no noise level. The villas are top notch and atmosphere & hospitality is something to see and experience where not one person did not greet with smile

We had a challenging start to our stay here. Some issues with communication and the room itself. We took this up with the management and they went above and beyond to not only correct the issues by moving us to a much higher grade room but also to make sure we had no further problems. Endi in particular was helpful and was very sincere in listening to and reflecting on the issues we were having. The resort itself is beautiful and the villas are enormous and have huge infinity pools. Service was a little patchy at times but overall the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. From the bar staff Apriana was helpful and from the restaurant staff Lofan was always charismatic and full of energy. Its a great spot to relax and enjoy the glorious weather and we would definitely like to come back to the resort one day!

Umana Bali is like being in another universe. The grounds are lush and immaculately tended. The sea breeze wafts across the property and into your elegant and peaceful room. Even the monkeys are friendly here. Don’t miss the restaurants, breakfasts in particular. The pool bar offers a quiet place to read or paint or chat. Every team member bent over backward to ensure our perfect stay. Lofan and Ariani in particular made us feel welcome and pampered. Thank you! We will be back.

I stayed here for four nights in March 2026 to celebrate my husband's birthday. The reason I am writing this review so late is because I only found out after our stay that the villa I was given was not the type I had actually booked. I had booked a "One-Bedroom Ocean Pool Villa," but they assigned me a "One-Bedroom Partial Ocean Pool Villa" (Villa#102) instead. I only realized this after checking out, and I am truly upset and dissatisfied this happened in a five stars resort. Although I was unhappy with the hotel downgrading my villa, I am still sincerely grateful for the attentive, warm and caring from all the staff who have taken care of us during our stay. Wow, what a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with the upmost respect and loyalty. Our host Darma was on call 24/7 and no request big or small was a hassle. This was our second stay at Umana and did not disappoint, Brian made our stay extra special and was so welcoming on our return, it was like visiting family. Sunset drinks at Olivera are a must do, Uma beach house has great vibes and fantastic cocktails. The transport to and from the resort to beach house is hassle free. Ari remembered us at breakfast from our previous stay and made us just as welcome as last time. Commune has a great variety of cuisine, can’t go past the crème brûlée! The rooms are something out of this world with so many special touches, from the candles by the bath, the amazing shower, the heated toilet seats, the storage for your luggage, the size of the bath room is amazing together with your own make up desk! Was sad to leave after 5 nights but already planning our return.
