We came here for our Anniversary trip and chose to stay with Umana for its peace and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle and we're glad we made the right choice. Hospitality: The hospitality at Umana meets the standards of a luxury 5 star resort - staff greeting you by name, warm welcome from everyone, love the welcome ritual of cold towels with a refreshing drink & dessert. In your room, you will also get a pair of coconut with your name engraved. And the staff gives that feeling that they genuinely would like to talk to you and help you out. Room: This is an all-villa concept, all villas have private pools with great privacy. The room is spacious and there are even two toilets! There's a hot tub outdoor by the pool so you can be in the water even at night time while enjoying the starry sky without feeling cold which is amazing. I love how big their bath tub is and they even provided candles, bubble bath bomb and bath salt for you to have a nice soak. They also provided beach bag and beach hats. Activities: You don't have to leave the resort. There's a lot to do! - yoga, spa, well-equipped gym, your own private pool, main pool, private cooking class to learn Balinese cooking, morning village walk to immerse yourself into the local village culture, shuttle to their beach house and beach. Food: Food was amazing. Breakfast was buffet and made-to-order style. Love their Balinese cuisine breakfast and sambal. My partner was worried of trying out local food at outside restaurants in fear for Bali belly (as he got it last trip) so we were happy we got to eat truly great Balinese food while at the resort. You can also order floating breakfasts to your villa which has Balinese cuisine. Summary: Would totally return to Umana again. Thank you for the warm hospitality. Highly recommending for anyone seeking a getaway!

Our stay at Umana Bali was outstanding. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the resort itself is thoughtfully designed with a peaceful, luxurious feel throughout. Traveling with my family of five, we found it to be incredibly comfortable and well suited for both relaxation and spending quality time together. The food was excellent, with the breakfast each morning being a particular highlight. There was a wide selection of fresh, high quality options that made it something we looked forward to daily. The service truly set this resort apart. Our curator, Darma, was exceptional, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. When we had to switch rooms unexpectedly (through no fault of the resort), he handled it quickly and smoothly, making the whole situation effortless for us. A wonderful experience overall, and I would absolutely recommend it for families looking for a beautiful and well cared for stay.

Spent a few days here and it was easily the highlight of our Bali trip. The villa was huge and absolutely stunning—literally every corner is a photo op. The facilities are top-notch, but what really stood out was how well we were treated as members. The team is incredibly generous and just so lovely to chat with. Also, special shoutout for the breakfast spread; it was massive and everything tasted amazing. A big thank you to everyone at Umana for making our stay so seamless and memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at this hotel. The overall experience was excellent, and the service was very professional. A special thanks to Tofik and Umana teams for their exceptional hospitality. Tofik was incredibly helpful and made sure we felt well-taken care of throughout our visit. We also really appreciated the flexibility with our check-out, which made our departure much more convenient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Bali! Staff were friendly and hospitable, from the staff at the Commune and Oliverra to the buggy drivers. Special shout out to Richard who warmly welcomed us to Umana on our arrival and Darma, our Curator, that constantly checked in if any help was needed throughout the trip. He was fast and responsive and made the stay feel so personal. 5 out of 5 for facilities, cleanliness and accommodation. Giving 4 out of 5 stars for views though - our initial villa (Villa 202) had a blocked view of the ocean, it was disappointing since we did book the ‘one bedroom panoramic view villa’ expecting unblocked views. (Maybe not an issue if you didn’t care for the view but if you specifically booked this villa vs the standard one bedroom villa, you would expect an unblocked panoramic view) Darma was very helpful though, he helped arrange for a switch to a different villa on our last night which was very much appreciated and we really enjoyed soaking in the views in the subsequent villa.
