Although the staff warmly saw us off all the way until we got into the taxi, I left feeling disappointed. Even though I had already explained through chat where I would be going after checkout, my dedicated curator didn’t even know that I was heading to the airport. This made me feel that I hadn’t been properly taken care of during our three-day stay. Unfortunately, the dedicated curator service was not very helpful. Responses usually took 30 minutes to an hour, and sometimes I couldn’t reach him when I really needed help. After checkout, I also felt completely left on my own, with no proper guidance or follow-up support. I had to find the shower facilities by myself without any explanation or assistance. We are Diamond members, so honestly, I have to ask myself what difference that actually made. I hope the hotel can improve its dedicated curator service for future guests.

We chose Umana Bali for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The resort is stunning, with beautiful villas, exceptional facilities, breathtaking views, and remarkable attention to detail. Everything is maintained to the highest standard, creating a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. What impressed us the most, however, was the hospitality. Every member of the team was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. A special thank you to Taufan for taking such great care of us every morning at breakfast. We are also incredibly grateful to our curator, Galuh, who made sure everything throughout our stay was seamless and always found ways to make our honeymoon even more special. A heartfelt thank you as well to Mr. Brian for his generosity, kindness, and genuine care. Treating us to a wonderful dinner was a gesture we truly appreciated, and he always took the time to check in with us and ensure everything was perfect. We continue to return to Umana for its beauty, private villas, and excellent service. The grounds are an oasis of peace and tranquility. While service is a strong point in Bali in general, Umana stands apart from other resorts. It’s difficult to put into words the genuine warmth and care of the Umana staff, particularly at Commune where breakfast is served. Breakfast was always a delight with Nuka, Lita, Lufan, Oka, Sayur, Eva, and other staff ensuring we were well taken care of every morning. Agus, the Director of Rooms, is another star who went out of his way to delight us. Curators Gabriella and Bagus checked in with us daily and quickly resolved any (however slight) concerns with true care. On this trip, we stayed in 5 different luxury properties throughout Bali, and Umana outshined all of them. We will be back!

Our family stayed in the 1200 sqm three-bedroom ocean view pool villa from July 10 to 15. Butler Tofik Nurochman made our vacation incredible. He maintained perfect boundaries — attentive yet never intrusive to our private family time. Available 24/7 to handle all requests, he thoughtfully arranged daily breakfast, airport transfer, complimentary afternoon tea and kids’ activities in advance. Stayed at Umana to welcome my friend, and it has been an amazing experience. During check-in, Adit provided exceptional service and gave us a wonderful tour of the resort. He was outstanding, and I’d like to give a special shout-out for his efforts in accommodating all of our requests. Our butlers, Tara and Andika, also took great care of us throughout our stay. They made sure every detail was taken care of and that all our needs were met with genuine attention and care. Their dedication was truly appreciated. We also had dinner at Oliverra, where Ayu was amazing. She even recognized that we had visited Oliverra last Christmas, which made the experience feel even more personal. She provided warm, attentive service throughout our dinner. Keita and Shaggy were also incredibly kind and welcoming. They provided excellent service and even arranged an early check-in for us, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the hospitality from everyone at Umana made our stay truly memorable.
