Based on the countless other reviews for COMO Uma Ubud, there’s not much I can add. The warmth and level of genuine service you’ll receive from the staff here is some of the best you’ll experience. The property is lush, beautiful and located far enough from “downtown” Ubud (10 min on motorbike, a bit longer via a car) to make it feel exclusive, but close enough there’s no issue getting there or seeing other sights in the area. The rooms were spotlessly clean (I could hardly find a speck of dust anywhere) and well maintained. Despite there being a plethora of upscale hotels in Bali (especially in Ubud), it would be hard not to just come back to COMO on my next visit. What a special place!

We had the perfect stay. What stood out most was the service by the staff, and the most beautiful hotel room, pool and food. The pool was a perfect place to settle down for half a day in the shade with a book. Regular cold water topped up without even asking for it. Thank you to all staff at Como Uma Ubud

Uma Como Ubud offers top-notch spaces that one can stay in Bali, in its Uma Villa & Uma Pool Villas. These are amenity rich and offer excellent views of the lush valley. The property is compact yet has tastefully designed lush gardens & pools. Their team planned wonderful trips to attractions in different areas of Bali. The breakfast is decent & dining options are limited given the overall top-notch style of the property. However, the proximity to other Ubud properties allows guests to easily visit other restaurants in luxury hotels & otherwise. Shopping areas are close by too. We visited the spa at their sister property Como Shambala estate which is arguably one of the best spas in the world (lived upto its name!). Want to thank the following staff for their hospitality- Dilla (checkin), Degi , Sudi (driver airport), Didi & Utami (Shambala spa), Dewa (duty manager). Special shout-out to our terrific chauffeur Nengah Sudiartha who was pleasant, efficient & knowledgeable!

Had a great few days here. Unusual set up, with the rooms all located throughout the complex and in separate “villas”. Lots of stairs, so not great for those with mobility issues. Found the bed to be like a Fred Flintstone cast off. That all said, these negatives pale into insignificance when you experience the hospitality here. The staff are all so well trained (well done to whoever does that). They make you feel like you are so special and they go out of their way to get to know you and give you a fantastic experience. Food was very tasty and the choices for breakfast were wide ranging. Something for everyone. We were told that they are building a new gym to upgrade the existing one. That will be a good move.

This was a fabulous wedding anniversary trip made better by the wonderful staff at Como Ubud. We had planned to visit Bali in March 2020 but Covid 19 changed plans for everyone in the world. We didn't search for and find Como, it was picked by our travel agent and presented to us with a package including Singapore and Jimbaran. We picked the garden pool villa. Anything that we wanted was never a problem. My husband woke up around 2 am and was hungry after room service was closed. We had dinner at the on site bar but he had eaten pretty light. They offered and had security go to get him spicy noodles. We wanted to do a tour that was not on the list of offerings and to start at 4 am. They not only found a guide to take us on our wedding anniversary but also packed us a to go breakfast since we would miss our included breakfast. The photos from the tour, mostly taken by our guide, look like we paid a professional photographer to follow us. We had our wedding anniversary dinner at the on site restaurant and they had a jazz band playing. The room was gorgeous and well maintained. I was so surprised by the privae Koi pond that I sent a message to our travel agent to let her know. We also took the morning free walking tour which is a pretty decent workout before breakfast. You sign a waiver for a reason so be prepared for some steep walking and slippery fields. I decided to get on the swings after not doing it the day prior and the staff arranged for a driver to take us the morning before our afternoon flight andfor him to wait with us so we didn't have to call a taxi to get back to the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay there again when in Ubud.
