I am writing to you now to express my gratitude towards Four Seasons Sayan Team. The hotel is beautiful, the staffs were amazing, the activities were fun. We felt 'welcome' the moment we arrive at the hotel. It feels like coming home after a long journey and your family there awaits and greet you. My sincere gratitude towards Anthony, Bli Sura, Bli Awin, Bu Wardhini and all staffs. Anthony were extremely helpful, friendly, he assist us with everything we need since we arrived, we kindda keep him occupied since we arrived due to our request, but he always assists us with everything. Bli Sura were very friendly, he took us around the resort area and explained us everything we need to know about the resort and he helped us with our luggage, I'm pretty sure my bag was very heavy but he still smiling like it was nothing. Bli Awin were very thoughtful, he remember my preferences and make sure that I get what I want. He make sure that we can see the river from our room and he told us were mak juwel is. It was really thoughtful of him. Bu Wardhini remember us even though the first time we went to Ayung is just for passing by, but in the next morning she greet us and assists us during our breakfast, i still remember her warm smile. Not to mention the food were amaziiiiiing, tokyo drift on breakfast and nasi goreng were our favorites. It was truly an amazing and healing experience, words cannot describe what I felt during our stay there. I would love to comeback soon❤️

My family and I stayed at the villa rooms at the Four Seasons and we had an incredible time here. The resort is right in the middle of the forest so the view while being driven around on the buggy was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the private pool and outdoor seating area were great for relaxing. We were also pleasantly surprised when the staff provided a delicious chocolate birthday cake in the room on my mom's birthday, as well as left a birthday message written with flowers on the bed. Thank you Four Seasons and the incredible staff!

Exploring Ubud with the Family Our family of five visited the Four Seasons Sayan over the New Year Holiday for five nights. As you know, there are many beautiful places to stay in Ubud with many wonderful reviews. After the service we received over the summer at the FS Landaa in the Maldives, we knew we couldn’t go wrong with the FS Sayan. From the moment you step out of the taxi, your simply in awe of the beauty of the hotel and your surroundings. It could not possibly get much better in my opinion. As you arrive, you are greeted with a chilled scented towel, cold water and a blessing from the staff. From there, they escort you across the bridge into the lobby where they will check you in while you enjoy a complimentary refreshing drink. From there, the buggy will drive you through the beautiful grounds to your villa. Location-It’s approximately 1hr and 15 min from the airport and 10 min into Ubud. It sits along the Agung river in a valley. The property is very large and beautiful. Rooms- I highly recommend a villa. If you can afford it, you will not be disappointed. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with a pool. If I stay there again, I would stay in one along the river. The sound of the river would be so peaceful. They are nothing short of amazing! The two rooms are separated by an outdoor living area that includes a kitchen, dining area and living room. Each of the rooms have an outdoor shower, indoor shower, walk-in closet, tub, desk and TV. They also provide nets around the bed just in case a mosquito gets into your room. Employees/Service- The Balinese are so incredibly friendly. From the moment you arrive they already know you by name. Throughout our stay, they are constantly calling you by your name. I don’t think the word “no” is in their vocabulary. They consistently ask how your doing and how was your day. It’s the little things that the FS provide that really sets them apart. Restaurants- We especially enjoyed the riverside cafe for lunch. The menu suited our entire family. Great place along the river to have a swim, enjoy a cocktail and a bite to eat. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, many options to choose from. The dinner buffets were also delicious, but very expensive. I recommend trying one of the many excellent restaurants in town. We enjoyed dinner at Bridges, Mozaic and The Sayan House. We also really enjoyed lunch at Indus. Tours- The hotel offers many complimentary activities and some with additional charges. We highly recommend the river rafting through the hotel. You may pay a little more but they make it very easy for you. The hotel provides transportation to the starting point. Along the way, you are given a chilled scented towel and water. We appreciated the professional guide as he explained and pointed out various things to us along the way. The rafting ends right at the River Cafe at the Four Seasons. The staff is waiting there for you to greet you with a towel, water and a chilled scented towel as you get out of the raft. We scheduled our rafting at 10am. We arrived back at the hotel around 1pm and enjoyed lunch afterwards at the Riverside Cafe. During our stay we also did a spa day at a local spa, all day bike tour with Greenbike Cycling(a must) and spent a afternoon walking around Monkey Forest and shopping in Ubud. If you like to shop, you should allow an entire day to shop in Ubud. We could have easily spent a couple of more days there to visit the Artist Colony and Jewelry boutiques. Fitness center/Spa- The fitness center overlooks the river and valley. They have a little of everything. The balinese massage is a must. Yes, you can go to one of the many spas in Ubud but the FS was the best. I’ve had many massages all over the world and this one definitely tops them. If you are looking for consistent service, good food, beautiful accommodations with a gorgeous view than Four Seasons Sayan is a must! You won’t be disappointed.

We came here for our honeymoon. We stayed 6 nights. We did it through a honeymoon package ( very similar to FHR with AMEX). We then went to 4S jimbaran which was in comparison No where near as good. We had an amazing welcome. We were given our bill and package when we first got there so we knew exactly what we were paying (about 1300 per night). Also explained all of our benefits. We were given an amazing villa (number 29 i think...) it was down a private area. it was neighbored by another villa but you couldn't tell if there was anyone there. Seemed like we were by ourselves many times. We scheduled our complimentary couples massage. We went to the Sayan Villa. which i guess was not part of the couples massage but since we walked all the way to the other side of the resort they brought our massage therapists over from the main spa. Amazing. With a complimentary breakfast you can order whatever you want at the restraint or whatever you want for room service. My only complaint is i wanted FSBali to post one of my pictures on instagram but they didn't!!!!! Check out My Instagram at @ jmm121884 for pictures. FYI this hotel requires you take taxis everywhere.. unless you have a car. but I would suggest you just take taxis everywhere. no issues getting back ever. Usually about 6 dollars each way to ubud. Highly Recommend our guid Dewa Alit. He costs about 60 dollars amazing for an 8 hour tour. Highly recommend don't goto Coffee plantations as that is a tourist trap and the coffees are crap. Any Questions about this place feel free to email me. Jmiessau at gmail com

My wife and I stayed at the Four Seasons in Ubud for the 2nd half of our honeymoon and it was amazing. It was so relaxing and quiet, just what we needed. The staff made it a point to get to know your names so the whole experience felt personal from check in to check out. They offered many cultural activities to make you feel like you got the vibe of the island.
