Hanging Gardens of Bali in Bali, Indonesia
Deep in the heart of Bali's rich rainforest, the enchanting Hanging Gardens of Bali sets the stage for an unforgettable journey into paradise. Granite, bamboo, and further varieties of organic elements adorn the 36 private guest villas and 2 suites, each of which features its own breathtaking infinity pool, rippling into the jungle below. The entire resort is built atop wooden pillars set among the steep rice terraces of Ubud's forest preserves, cradled between lush mountains and the winding Ayung River. Accommodations offer contemporary Balinese appointments, traditional Alang Alang thatched roofs, and unique features like pergolas, zen gardens, and oversize canopied beds. Streamlined design breathes beautiful minimalistic style, and creates thoroughly calming surroundings for your stay. The peaceful views are abundant, peering over the rainforest, river, and Segara Temple, which faces the resort from the opposite hillside.
The stunning and much-lauded twin-level cascading pools at Hanging Gardens of Bali have been deemed the world's best by the likes of Condé Nast Traveler, so take an ultra refreshing dip while looking out over the landscape and coconut palms. Meander throughout the property to enjoy its fertile tropical gardens, which produce ingredients like chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, lemongrass, and coconut, all used in the resort's restaurant. To pamper the mind and body, Ayung Spa offers revitalizing treatments taken in the privacy of your own villa, or by the main pool or riverside. Dining is a multi-faceted experience at Ubud Hanging Gardens. The Restaurant features international cuisine showcasing local ingredients, in a serene setting of pure tranquility. The chef uses a modern and innovative cooking approach that combines global flavors with a strong focus on quality ingredients, all infused with creativity and originality. The casual River Café overlooks the Ayung River and serves up healthy salads and fresh wraps, and private dining or picnic baskets stashed with an array of edibles are additional options for meals. The sublime bar and lounge, near the main pool, features living room-style seating plus a wall of doors that push to the side blending the outdoors with the interiors. Refreshing drinks and cocktails help to put you in a deeper mode of bliss. Reviews for Hanging Gardens of Bali
We had great time staying at hanging garden, the staff very polite and friendly. Even though we surrounded by jungle I did not get any mosquito bites and the menu is fantastic. We definitely going back

After our first visit to Hanging Gardens of Bali in 2015, my boyfriend surprised me again with a trip to Bali (Lucky me :). This time the service at the Hotel exceeded all my expectations. The welcoming was so organised, that upon arrival we just immersed in the beauty of the jungle, everything else was taken care of us. The dinner was spectacular, the service is great, I had my favourite champagne, overlooking the magical Temple across. Would really recommend this Hotel, it is truly a 7 stars experience!
You can call it our delayed honeymoon (Since we could not have it back in 2015 due to professional commitments) my wife and I mutually agreed to stay at Hanging Gardens looking at the mesmerizing pictures online . For sure its a little expensive but quality comes with a price and by word it was worth every penny (Dirham) we paid :) The staff were very kind and polite , service was great , Breakfast was as good as fine dining (Top Notch) , the F&B was spectacular (I could say i had the best ravioli of my life) The couple spa treatment was alright to be honest but again i would not focus much towards that. From the famous iconic pool to the amazing riverside pool villa Hanging Gardens took our breath away and created a memory to cherish all our lives Cant really think of any flaw or remark to be added as my wife and i were one of the lucky few to have experienced a perfect get away @ Hanging Gardens . For a once in a life time experience spending your hard earned money on such luxuries of life is absolutely worth it . A big thank you to the entire staff once again (Crystal&Carlton) PS. I work for the Tourism industry in Dubai and am reviewing through sheer observation.

With a great expectation of hanging garden from the online review we arrived. The checkin process was swift and effortless and walking around the Vincinity. The view was fantastic and we arrived our suite . The hardware meaning the room and private infinity pool was impressive . The decking area was good too with clear view Outside . Our suite was in higher level so the panoramic view was fantastic. We stayed for a week and using all the facilities spa and restaurant and public infinity pool. Now the soft ware the staff was helpful however , on the 3rd day we smelt sewage from our bath room . We reached the front desk but with 3 attempt it improved the smell but not resolved completely. With this price tag it's kind of disappointing which would not happen with other boutique resorts. The food at the restaurant once again Was not the best even though it tried to Bring in local authentic cuisine but I find it rather unimpressive. My wife also mentioned the spa service was mediocre too with loads of mozzies around . Overall , beautiful resort but significant hiccups. Pros- helpful staff , excellent bike guide , infinity pool dinner with originality Cons- restaurant and spa , sewage treatment

We were a bit annoyed with no staff welcoming or helping us when we just reached the hotel and unloaded our luggage from the car. Not the sort of welcome we expected from the 7-stars hotel, but they immediately fix it after they knew we were guest. The hotel had cable-car-like elevator to go to each villa level. We stayed at the panoramic villa with private pool and the villa was really nice. I was a bit concerned when I read some review about the bothering mosquitoes but was able to have a really good sleep there as they had anticipated how to minimize this issue with the mosquito net and bugs repellent service. Since the hotel is in forest, bugs can't be avoided but as long as the doors kept closed, it can really be minimized. The main infinity pool was really worth its fame and the hotel really maintained its privacy so the pool could only used by hotel residents. The private pool was also decent with good panorama view as well as you could see monkeys on the trees. Hotel staff were also very kind and attentive. We had a case when a large centipede went into our trunk and the staff helped us to pull out the content of the trunk one by one until he found the centipede as well as continued to pull everything out to ensure no other centipede or bugs inside. Hotel breakfast was also very nice with semi buffet where we could order ala carte menu in addition to simple buffet. The infinity pool and panorama were worth 7 stars but it might be a bit overpriced for the villa interior.
