I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Hanging Gardens Of Bali. We are newly weds and with our wedding guests organising a travel voucher for us to use on our honeymoon, we decided to stay here for two nights having heard so much about it. Our room was nothing short of decadent opulence, a beautiful supremely comfortable bed with gorgeous views of the rain forest and private infinity pool. A deck with mini bar and private jacuzzi once again over looking the magnificent surrounds. The staff were superb, highly attentive and always willing to please... nothing was ever too much. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, with stunning views. Unfortunately there is quite a limited wine list with no Indonesian wines offered, I know full well that Indonesian wines are not five star or highly sought after around the world... but for those coming to the country wanting to experience Indonesian products we were left a little disappointed, especially with the price of the wines that were offered. The menu is varied, and from what we experienced of it very well executed. Breakfast is impressive with a large range of foods to choose from and indulge in. Just one other little over look, when we decided to book here through our travel agent we were told that being honeymooners we would receive a welcome gift on our bed and a rose petal bath on arrival. This did not happen and my husband was embarrassingly forced to ask for these things... more than once. After asking a coupe of times the staff seemed the rustle up some flower petals and a cute little welcome gift for when we returned from dinner. But unfortunately it had lost that little je ne sais quoi. It seemed that the staff were not well informed as to our purpose of stay and hence did not act upon our travel consultants instructions. We had felt really special at other smaller more inexpensive hotels previous to staying here, but did not feel the love at all here, sorry to say! But that aside, it was certainly one off the bucket list, and thoroughly enjoyed.

There are amazing hotels and then there is Hanging Gardens of Bali which raises the hotel experience into a completely new level. There are no words to describe how awesome Hanging Gardens of Bali is with its amazing infinity pool (probably the most beautiful in the world), its luxurious private villas in the middle of the jungle, the breathtaking scenery and the nice staff always willing to help. Staying there is an experience not to forget! I would rate it more than 5 stars if I could!

Spent 3 nights here in June and it doesn't disappoint. We had a panoramic villa (23) which was well situated and had a great view. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed comfortable and quiet. The food was high quality and the breakfasts really good with a good selection. The evening food was of a good quality. The menu was the same each night and it would be good to have had a variation. And then there is the iconic pool which is special. All of these things make the Hanging Gardens a great place to stay but that is only half the story. I have travelled a lot but rarely have the people working where I am staying made such an impression or had such a positive impact on the overall experience. Friendly, attentive, always smiling, smart, helpful - I could go on forever. So a great hotel with great people who make the memories special - it may be a bit more expensive but something's are worth it and this is one.

I spent a day at hanging gardens of bali to celebrate my 1st anniversary of marriage with my hubby. They give us the room no 45 in the edge of the jungle, so it's a very romantic room and no one pass the because it's on the edge. So we really enjoy out stay. But sad, the rain never stop at that time we stay there. My friend in denpasar said that we should n't go to ubud in the fool moon because the paranormal in denpasar will throw away the cloud to ubud, so there would be hard rain. I dont believe that. But in fact, there's no rain at all in denpasar even it's so cloudy! Maybe what my friend's say is right. Avoid the date near and fool moon day to stay in ubud. I'm so lucky that the staff there were really kind. They took all the pict of me and my husband patiently even it was rain outside. They gave me wonderful anniversary cake! We really love it! The private pool in the room is really amazing, 2 monkey were playing around our gazeboo. One thing maybe indonesian people dislike in the room is the dry toilet, no faucet in the toilet. But it's okay maybe we should learn how to use toilet paper than water. It's really a good place for romantic vacation. Thanks hanging gardens of bali, i hope i could be back someday
