Hanging Gardens of Bali

I guess this is the best location for honeymoon vides in Bali. Food is tasty and very well presented, their SPA therapists are amazing. The location is great, view is breathtaking, staff is super friendly and professional. The variety in additional services provided would make your stay unforgettable and romantic. I recommend the ‘Romance under the stars’ for honeymooners!

I am very pleased with my choice of Hanging Gardens of Bali. My wife and I had an excellent and unforgettable stay. The staff were extremely kind, the manager was very professional, and everything exceeded our expectations. I truly look forward to staying at this hotel again.

What a beautiful location and experience! This is a content creators dream! If you’re thinking to not wear a dress…WEAR A DRESS! The dresses add to the mood but go very early to wear the dresses first! I think they circulate them all day and it’s very hot and sweaty sooooo! The photos are inexpensive and worth every penny! This is a must do excursion!!

We stayed at the Hanging Gardens hotel for 5 days during our 4-week trip to Bali. Out of all the places we stayed — including The Mulia Resort in Nusa Dua and Six Senses in Uluwatu — our expectations for Hanging Gardens were by far the highest. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment. Let’s start with the positives: The view from our room was absolutely stunning — the same can be said for the breakfast area and the infinity pool. The location is truly spectacular and deserves top marks. The staff were generally friendly, always smiling and asking about our day, which we appreciated. However, several negative experiences really overshadowed our stay. This was our wedding trip, and we chose Hanging Gardens as our main hotel, assuming it would offer the highest level of service and quality. Sadly, that was not the case. We had informed the staff multiple times that our wedding ceremony would take place on September 6 and asked them to prepare breakfast boxes to take with us that morning. What we received was very disappointing — one apple, two small pieces of bread with a thin slice of cheese and ham, and a bottle of orange juice. Even a child would have been left hungry. When we returned from the ceremony, the staff at the lobby asked where we had been — no one seemed to know that we had gotten married that day, despite 10 people being in our room that morning helping us get ready. This lack of attention to detail and communication was frustrating, especially given the nature of our trip. We were very disappointed to find out that the gym was closed, and no one had informed us about this in advance. We are active people who work out daily, so this was a major letdown right at the beginning of our stay. Another major issue was the flooring in our room — it was extremely slippery, even when dry. My wife slipped and fell three times, which was not only inconvenient but dangerous. And finally — the hotel is seriously overpriced. Both food and spa services are far more expensive than elsewhere. Each evening, we ended up going into Ubud center to eat and enjoy massages, which cost us 3–4 times less than what the hotel was charging. In comparison, both Mulia and Six Senses left us with far better memories and overall feelings — and surprisingly, both were less expensive than Hanging Gardens. All in all, we left feeling very disappointed. This hotel did not live up to its luxury reputation and was certainly not worth the money.

It was a perfect stay, from the friendly staff, to the infinity pool. Spa was also great! Breakfast has alot of options as well
