Had holiday to celebrate our anniversary with my wife, first of all Bali of course has it's own magical for this purpose. In addition Hanging Garden Ubud completed the perfection of our stay with professional and personal touch from their staff, it will be not fair if we only mentioned few names since all their staff including their own trainee even has a high sense of what they are doing in order to make sure the guest staying there having very positive experiences. Location wise it's on the middle of jungle and quite far from center of Ubud, a perfect place for serenity and place to charge and enhanced your souls. Exactly the vibes that we are looking for part of this anniversary trip, surrounding with the mist of greenery, sunset Yoga next to Ayung river, and very lucky at one of late afternoon seeing group of wild monkeys with their pack of leader having some activities at one of the big trees in jungle. Surely their infinity pools is one of the big highlights as well while relaxing on this edge of pool while looking to the scenery of the jungle and beautiful sky. Weather on May makes it also not too hot as well. Speaking of facilities on this luxury resort itselves is above our expectation, well indeed it's come with pricey tag but it's worth with the very pleasant stay you have. Infinity pools, breakfast session, inclinator, private pool in room villa with big balcony and Harman Kardon to enjoy the day. If one hindrance us give 11/10 rating is the welcome amenities/decoration in our room is not having personal honeymoon anniversary decoration eventhough it's informed in advanced during our reservation. Definitely one of the best place we've ever stayed & experiences in Bali, would love to come back and recommended this place to anyone whom looking for luxury resort experience in Bali.

Best hotel at Ubud. Great, great service! Excellent food. Very good rooms! The Spa is nice and service was great. The meditation was incredible. The dinner at the temple was nice and unique. If go to Ubud, don’t hesitate to stay at the Hanging Gardens

Great experience and value for money was there! Rooms are gorgeous, breakfast included (delicious), they offer a complementary service of afternoon tea (coffe/tea+finger food). During our stay they surprised us with rose petals in our bath and stone jewelry gifts. Views are fantastic and floating breakfast is definitely worth a try! Would definitely recommend.

We visited Panorama view villa and it was superb. Their lift is worth the hype. Cleanliness and staff hospitality is upto the mark. Food excellent. Swimming pool water was cold, but due to weather. Buttler service was nice. I would definitely recommend this resort for peace loving people

I wanted to make my honeymoon in Bali extra special, because my wife and I travel often and review lux hotels on Instagram. So when I was researching for where we should stay on our honeymoon in Ubud, I vetted many places. Hanging Gardens continuously came up as the #1 boutique hotel in Bali. For about a week, I watched their content on Instagram to get a feel for the experience and seeing the romantic things I could do for my wife here made my decision to book easy. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, elegant, romantic, and peaceful. This hotel is located deep in the Ubud jungle where all you can hear are birds, geckos, and crickets. Our villa had a private pool which we had a floating breakfast at one morning! That’s a must-do experience and will be a highlight of how we remember Ubud. The Hanging Gardens pool is where you’ll spend your days tanning and taking epic shots overlooking the jungle. Yet the #1 thing we did during our 5 day stay at Hanging Gardens is the private, romantic dinner at the pool. I surprised my wife with this experience and her smile lit up like the hundreds of candles all around the pool. This has been the crescendo of our honeymoon. The downsides of this property are also it’s benefits — quite, remote, and surrounded by nature. The drive to downtown Ubud is 40 minutes by the free car ride Hanging Gardens provides. We wish that there was more to do and see in walking distance, but that’s ok for a romantic getaway. We saved the high energy pool parties for Canggu :p We also wish there was a gym but the nice staff provided us yoga mats to use in the room. So that’s why I rate Hanging Gardens 10/10 must stay boutique hotel in Ubud, Bali! Special thanks to the Hanging Gardens staff for all the small romantic gestures that didn’t make it into this review.
