The staff are lovely. We treated ourselves to a club room experience and mostly stayed at the resort. There is so much to do and the club benefits are worth the extra. Their club lounge is world class! Separate pool with relaxing poolside gazebos for members. These are also available beachside. The in house restaurants are truly superb, the personalised dining experience at the Italian restaurant Bella Cucina was fantastic!

We went here to spend the last day, before our flight took off at midnight. They took care of our luggage, and we hung out at the pool before we got a daybed at the beach side restaurant. We ended our vacation with the most magnificent sunset, lounging in the daybed with delicious food and drinks. The resort is huge, and we talked about coming back with our family in the future.

Only stayed for a day prior to flying out. We usually stay in privates villas so we've never stayed in a big resort like this before. While the location, pools and lawns were nice I don't think we'll stay again unless, like this time, we have to. Too many people, and wow, super expensive. We usually pay a lot more than this place, so we don't mind spending more for luxury accommodation, but the price of food and drinks was over the top. People stuck in these resorts are getting ripped off when you can dine in luxury for a fraction of the price.

Intercontinental Bali Resort is fabulous! It's a beautiful setting with friendly and professional staff. The pools and beachfront are stellar. We had adventures planned several times, then opted to spend the day at the resort instead because it's such a magical place. What makes this resort so nice is the access to and view of the lovely, walkable beach, the large and luxurious grounds and the smiling staff. Another excellent feature of the resort is the easy access to surrounding businesses. While all of the resort restaurants are very good (do not miss the Japanese restaurant Ko, at least to see the amazing interior!) it's nice to have other options nearby. There are many reasonably-priced grilled seafood and Indonesian restaurants on the beach, maybe 2 minutes by foot. At night, soak in the sparkling lights at sunset from a table on the beach eating fresh grilled lobster. Outside of the resort entrance there are spas, a convenience store, souvenir and clothing shops and a fabulous Indonesian restaurant. We have stayed here 3 times, twice with the Club Intercontinental amenity and once without. While the Club is nice, the resort is worthwhile with or without. We found ourselves gravitating to the non-Club pool as it's closer to the beach and has a swim-up bar. This is a great resort. If you want to escape the real world, this is the place! I heard there will be a remodel in the next few months. The resort grounds are so big that I would stay here even if there was construction elsewhere at the resort, then you'll have the expansive pools and cabanas to yourself. Enjoy!
