Booked a King Uluwatu Club Suite Pool View2 Nights stay during a short stay in Bali (Nov 9 to 11) Airport Pick-Up (Complimentary was spotless) Check-In, done in the Club Lounge was very fast and efficient. I had requested an early check-in (RA perks) and the room was available upon arrival. The room was great with a big living room, dining, huge bathroom and bedroom. Room amenities were top notch. Room controls (thermostat, lighting etc ...) are a bit outdated but worked perfectly well. The Room had a large balcony with a view on the pool. The Facility is huge and very well maintained; the pools are big and amazing. The beach shore is very nice with lot of sunbeds. The Club Lounge was amazing, one of the best i have been too. Staff are very helpful, courteous and extremely professional. Wifi signal was very strong thru the whole resort. Dining options are great The only comment I would have is about the value / Recognition of the Intercontinental Royal Ambassadors members I felt a bit disappointed that aside from the Free Minibar and Early Check-In, no upgrade was given to the typed of room booked. Though I know that the King Uluwatu Club Suite is excluded from the Upgrade , other IC I have stayed have always extended upgrades for suites. Furthermore many travellers on other forums have also mentioned being upgraded to to Uluwatu Suite. It might be a better value for RAs to book a lower category room to enjoy the benefits of their membership. In all cases, the Facility is highly recommended and I would definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Overall, great location with close access to the beach and restaurants. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the hotel. The rooms were outdated and dirty. The bathrooms had pink and brown scums. The floors were dusty. The pools were also dirty and old. I’ve stayed at other intercontinental hotels in the past and this was by far three most disappointing. I’d come back only if it is renovated. I’m giving three stars for the amazing dinner at the Italian restaurant inside the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great. To the owner: please renovate your hotel. It’s a beautiful location but needs a lot of improvement.

On holiday with my daughter, and we stayed for 2 nights at the Intercontinental Jimbaran after departing Ubud. Staff was wonderfully attentive, we received a double upgrade to a large suite. Next day my daughter hurt herself bike riding on the property, staff were very accommodating - providing wheelchair, transportation to local doctor and apotheke to pick-up medication. Helped me care for her and make her feel better despite her injury. We thought the property was very nice and staff were super sweet - what else could one ask for.

My husband and I were only here for 1 day and I paid $240 for a room for the day as our flight left at 10:00PM. We actually stayed at the Ayana the night before but did not get a good feeling from that sterile mega resort and they were so adamant at Ayana that we had to leave by 1:00PM that we booked our last day at Intercontinental. I asked for a discount but had to pay full price at Intercontinental......nevertheless we enjoyed our short expensive stay here much more than Ayana. The intercontinental is in a spectacular location, right on Jimbaran beach, we love to walk and you can walk for miles... The beach loungers all look out on the water for a relaxing view, there is a cafe right on the beach that serves amazing salads and at night it is so lovely all lit up with mood lighting and you can hear the waves as you are eating. The famous seafood restaurants on the beach are directly next door, we tried them one night for the experience.... The pool is a nice temperature, has a swim up bar and is really comfortable to hang out in or swim laps.... The room we were in did not have a view but had been newly renovated and was upscale, and smartly decorated. The bathrooms were modern and designed elegantly.... The lobby is orientated towards the water and is open air and nice to relax in.... I wish we had spent our last night here instead of at Ayana but we did enjoy what little time we had ...... We recommend this hotel for its stunning centralized location and wonderful beachside cafe...

Went in with high expectations but was very disappointed. Sorry but it would be worst review for an Interconn hotel that I have ever written. Please avoid with family and kids. - Very Bad for Families with Kids: THEY CHARGE FOR KIDS CLUB on an hourly basis. BEWARE. The kids pool was dirty so practically the kids were in the room watching TV. - Booking - they didn't agree to cancel even when the volcano went off, i ended up getting stuck in Bali because of it. All other hotels offered discounted stay, Interconn didn't even worry asking where I am heading when the Airport is closed !!! - Not well maintained and needs a renovation in the common areas and pools. - The only good thing was rooms were renovated, big and nice. But there was no view at all.
