We had a wonderful stay at Kamandalu Ubud and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The resort is beautifully set in nature, surrounded by lush greenery, and feels like a peaceful retreat away from the busy streets of Ubud. The staff were incredibly kind, warm and attentive throughout our stay. We were travelling with our 2-year-old daughter, and we really appreciated how welcoming the resort was. We also arranged several trips through the resort, including Bali Bird Park, Bali Zoo, the traditional water purification ceremony at a temple, and a visit to the Tegalalang rice fields. Everything was very well organized and made exploring Bali with a toddler easy and stress-free. Our driver was absolutely wonderful with our daughter — very attentive, patient and caring. She felt completely safe and comfortable with him throughout our outings, which was especially important to us as parents. There were so many lovely little experiences that made our stay special. Our daughter particularly enjoyed the koi fishing, which quickly became one of her favorite activities at the resort. We also loved taking part in the traditional Balinese flower offering ceremony — it was such a beautiful and meaningful experience to share as a family. We had several massages at the resort and were very impressed with the quality. The therapists were professional and skilled, and the treatments were exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. One of the spa experiences also included a beautiful forest swing, which made it even more memorable. We also enjoyed the yoga sessions at the resort, which were a wonderful way to start the day surrounded by nature and tranquility. Our villa was spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed, with lovely Balinese touches. We also enjoyed the pools, the lush surroundings and the overall tranquility of the resort. What made our stay even more special was the lovely gesture at the end of our stay. As long-term guests, we were surprised with beautiful flower garlands, which was such a thoughtful and memorable way to say goodbye. Overall, Kamandalu was a beautiful part of our Bali journey. We are grateful for the wonderful hospitality and all the thoughtful little touches that made our stay so special. We would happily return and highly recommend Kamandalu, especially to families travelling with young children.
