LOCATION: Took us about 75min to drive from Legian and over 2hours return and the only way there is past the airport highway which is currently under construction - so plan your trip accordingly. Once there, the view is breathtaking and it's by far one of the best beaches in Bali. SERVICE: Straight up 10/10. Nothing more to say. MASSAGE: They go the extra mile in seeking your comments on exactly how you'd like your massage, areas of your body you want them to focus on and they follow it to the letter. FOOD: They have a Seafood degustation menu as well as a Non-seafood menu. We opted for Non-seafood which was 7-8 plates of grilled beef, chicken and lamb with various marinades and a good pile of fresh salad (which is hard to come by in Bali). This was followed by a pretty tasty dessert. Slight meat-overload but tasty and filling nonetheless.

Great place - the villa with pool and private garden was great - the pool overlooking the Indian Ocean was the best thing I've ever seen - the beach club and all amenities was fantastic - a little bit of paradise and I would love to go back - my only slight niggle was that it was as very expensive to eat/drink in the resort - we got a taxi to local supermarket and purchased things to save money - not all the time - but it helped! An amazing place...

The location of the resort is absolutely stunning! The grounds and the resort itself are beautiful, quite a big place that’s why they have golf buggy to get you around but we walked most of the time. The beach is really nice and very clean, but be careful as the currents and reef makes it a bit tricky at times , also watch out for sea urchin if you go over the reef. Staff are very helpful and friendly but I feel they could do with more training and better English ( but I am also a truly believer that we should also try to make an effort to speak few words of the local language when you travel overseas). A particular thanks goes to Bagus at the karma beach bar, he was great!! The all resort from the restaurant to the villas does need a renovation as it starts to look a bit tired . The food in my opinion is a bit average and a bit pricey, but the pizza at the karma beach is quite good. The music at the karma beach bar was great! Just the right beats for a place like that. Most of the villas are set back so you don’t really get the ocean view, apart from 3 of the biggest villas which they are right on the cliff edge. Try to get a villa as close as possible to the restaurant if you don’t like walking too much, also the ones right at the back gets quite a bit of noise from the main road. The villas itself are quite spacious and they all have a pool, but as I was mention before they do need renovation. Overall a good experience, I am looking forward to my next stay hopefully after the renovation!

It doesn’t get better than this! Stayed in a Villa with an infinity pool looking over the ocean with monkeys stopping by to say hello every so often. Truly heaven. Had the best massage at the Karma spa which is located on the edge of a cliff with spectacular views. Took a trolley down to the Karma Beach club to experience groovy music and the beach’s clear waters. With corals and beach cliffs, Karma Kandara is literally the stuff dreams are made of. Every area is the perfect photo spot and the staff are so friendly and beyond accommodating. Di Mare restaurant is top notch (try the dragon bowl dessert) and the gym is supplied with the perfect equipment to offset indulging in the amazing food. Thank you Sebastien and Joseph for the best stay and for memories I’ll treasure for a lifetime.

We had a perfect week at Karma Kandara. The villa was luxurious, but still felt comfortable and homely. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, but our trip was made by the excellent staff. Always friendly and efficient, no request was too big or too small. We were especially grateful for the concierge, who's assistance really made our stay one to remember!
