There are four Komaneka properties in Ubud alone – choose Komaneka at Rasa Sayang if you want an immersion in the delightfully bohemian town of Ubud without sacrificing the appeal of a rainforest retreat in the Balinese countryside. The landscaping at Rasa Sayang is spectacular, and it cordons off the resort into areas that feel spacious and private. Rich, jewel-toned Balinese tapestries embellish bedrooms dressed in marble and honey-colored wood, while the pool shimmers in hues of the Indian Ocean. Plan to delve into local culture through the daily roster of complimentary activities, including woodcarving and coconut leaf crafts.

I cannot recommend the Komaneka at Rasa Sayang more! Me and my husband stayed back in 2017 for our honeymoon and returned this year (April 24) because we had such fond memories of it. They did not disappoint! All of the staff are wonderful and cannot help you enough - from the reception staff through to the restaurant staff, they are the best! Rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy, the hotel is like you’re in a beautiful tropical rain forest with plants everywhere - so peaceful! It’s in an excellent location and it’s quiet, even though it’s right near the main road. We had no issues with noise. Breakfast is 2 courses and delicious - very filling. Please stay there! You won’t be disappointed!

A favorite hotel in Ubud. Excellent rooms, location, breakfast, pool.... all of it is wonderful. Most importantly the kindest and most professional staff. Always having you feel welcomed. There's a reason I am loyal to this property and always am so happy to return. Something I think of before checking out. And if a guest is doing this then the stay and time has been succesful!!! Thank you Komaneka Rasa Sayang for another incredible stay at the hotel. Returning soon xx

What a beautiful place to be in Ubud. I initially was only staying in Ubud for one night and booked this hotel on a whim .. what a great find . As a solo traveller I was made to feel safe , welcomed and like I was home. A special mention to all the staff that welcomed me and looked after me .. yet still gave me the space to relax and switch off. The lovely Ari on the front desk was very kind, courteous and so helpful on my trip. As were all the staff on the front desk and throughout the hotel . I can’t remember all names but I thank you all. Another special mention to Juhen who tried so hard to help me to find last minute transport to the airport … thank you Juhen! Reni and all the staff in the restaurant were also so warm and helpful and provided perfect hospitality. Breakfast was lovely and the idea of afternoon tea was just a perfect little extra after a day of walking in the heat. Location of this hotel is perfect and really central to everything . Not an overly huge hotel but the perfect size in my opinion and a great place for solo travellers and everyone. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to share my experience and find with people. I work in recruitment back home and I think the owners of this hotel have chosen their staff very well. I also found out that staff get two days off a week here .. which is not always the case in Bali hotels .. this says a lot about the organisation looking after their staff .. and it is reflected in the happy staff that made my stay very special … and the reason I decided to extend my stay !!Thank you Komaneka… I hope to come back again soon. Best wishes Maria

Incredible massages! My husband and I got one every day we were here for 90 minutes! Courteous and attentive staff. Car from the hotel shuttled us to and from Denpasar airport. Highly recommend this resort in walking distance to the center of Ubud.

Our week’s stay at Komaneka at Rasa Sayang was made special by the friendly and helpful staff. We would especially like to mention Juhen who, when we asked about temple festivals in the area, told us about one in his home village of Pejeng. It was a lovely surprise when he met us there and explained everything that was happening. Thank you Juhen for this unforgettable experience!
