What an amazing hotel! The rooms all have ocean views, the service is friendly and helpful but not all over you, the breakfast is wonderful and the facilities are outstanding. It is rare to find such a perfect gem! Note that the ocean here is quite rough, but the pools and perfect sunset location make up for it.

The second you pass through the gates of The Legian you enter a haven of peace, relaxation and the highest quality of service delivered by the most charming and professional staff, from the reception staff to the cleaners, the pool attendants to the waiters and waitresses. In fact, everyone. The location is on a quiet stretch of the beach in Seminyak with uncluttered views out to sea and across the rolling waves to gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Yet it is set close to the buzz and vibrancy of Seminyak shopping and a huge variety of restaurants and bars Rooms are large, elegantly furnished with local furniture, large balconies, and spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas plus a small kitchen regularly topped up with snacks, fruit and drinks. The three pools cater for the serious swimmer, children and families but never appear crowded and the space around them is not dominated by a mass of sunbeds as is the case in so many other hotels. Breakfast is superb with a full range of Asian and western food. Dining options are also excellent whether from the pool bars or the main dining room We’ve returned for the sixth time because the place is just so perfectly relaxing and we always feel so welcome.

Top notch experience in every way. Beautiful spacious 2 bedroom suite for the family, service impeccable, pool area luxurious and relaxing. No corners were cut at all. Would gladly return and highly recommend.

As always, The Legian stands out amongst hotel legends for their attention to detail and quality of the staff. Food and beverage in each of the dining options well priced and great variety for Indonesian and international options. Breakfast as always a hit (although coffee can be hit and miss). We loved the time to just re-charge and stop. Highly recommend.

An unbelievable hotel, stunning location with beach access. The entire hotel is immaculate, rooms are huge and beautifully equipped with large balconies and sumptuous seating areas in the lounge. The beds are enormous and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent with a glorious breakfast choice, a wonderful afternoon tea thrown in every day and bar snacks to keep you going before dinner. The Wellness Suite is superb with a well equipped gym, an excellent range of classes including yoga every morning and tranquil and luxurious spa treatments. The staff were simply outstanding. We have never had such incredible service, and we've experience the middle east which is known for it's brilliance. This is certainly on par and more. The entire operation is run by the delightfully brilliant Mr Maximilian, who was there each morning, gliding through the breakfast hall to great his guests. More impressively, he knew everyone by their first name! Nothing was a problem and any issued was resolved without fuss or delay. He asked to name key staff to reward them - please reward them all - they all deserve it! And don't forget the amazing gardeners who keep the grounds looking pristine, lush and tropical - an absolute haven of tranquility and relaxation. Thank you for making our holiday so special.
