My husband and I stayed for a week on a Luxury Escapes Package which included all meals, afternoon drinks and a massage for two. This was our first time staying in Nusa Dua, having previously stayed in Jimbaran and Sanur. After reading previous reviews, we decided to upgrade to a Palace Club Garden View Room which also gave us access to the Palace Club Lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks. Overall, we had a fantastic week and the package was excellent value for money. Things that were great included: The staff. I simply cannot speak highly enough of all the staff we encountered throughout the week. They were exceptional. The bed in our room. Sooooo comfortable! Dining. The food in all restaurants was outstanding. We had a choice of al a carte breakfast in the Palace Club Lounge or a full buffet in Wedang Jahe. Lunch and dinner was two courses with plenty of options to choose from. The Tamarind and Maguro were our favorites. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday there was an outdoor buffet dinner with entertainment. The Friday buffet and fire dance was incredible and one of the best nights out we have had in a long time. Evening drinks. From 3pm to 6pm free flowing drinks (a selection of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks) were included at the Chess Beachfront Bar or Lobby Bar. The Palace Club also included free flowing drinks from 5.30pm to 7pm. We enjoyed both but preferred being by the beach and then jumping into the pool for a dip later once the sun had gone down. Facilities. The gym was one of the most well equipped hotel gyms I have used. There was also a tennis court, squash court and bikes for hire. The pool areas included a large main pool and a beautiful tranquil lap pool in the spa building. The beach was stunning with plenty of sun loungers under shady trees so we loved spending a few hours there each day. Location. Nusa Dua is beautiful! The hotel is also about a 15 minute flat walk through lush landscaped gardens to Bali Collection which had lots of shops and restaurants. We found it was better to go later in the day as most market stalls were not set up until after lunchtime. Things that were not so great: We were advised by the hotel to book our spa treatment and dining ahead of time. I tried to do this, sending emails to both the spa and restaurant email addresses provided but received no response. After a couple of days I emailed again to follow up but again no response. I then contacted Luxury Escapes for assistance. Despite an email from the spa confirming an appointment time for our massages, when we went to the spa on arrival to confirm this, they had no record of it. This did not create a very good first impression and we wondered at the time if this was going to be a sign of things to come. Our room was not soundproof. We encountered a fair bit of noise from adjoining rooms and people moving furniture around in the room above us. We were also woken at 6.30am on two mornings by gardeners chopping down tree and palm branches outside our room which wasn't ideal. Then there was a party at Sofitel next door (opposite our room) with loud music late into Saturday night. As such, I recommend a good pair of earplugs if you want a decent sleep.

The receptionist Toyah was very pleasant is. He also gave us an odd grade which was very lovely as Aaron wasn’t ready for. The bar staff were really nice as well. In general, all of them, very friendly, and top hospitality. Definitely recommend

The scenery and amenities of Mulia were all the best, but the service of the staff was the best! Among them, thank you so much to SUWAN for your sincere efforts to us throughout our stay in Mulia. I was happy that our Butler was Suwan and Astawa!! I really want to come back!!

Amazing experience in an awesome place. Thanks to all the staff for having given us the top of the assistance in every circumstance. Great environment, top class restaurants and a giant beach to have long walks or, simply, chilling out as much as you can!!!
