The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

The Oberoi in Bali just made it to one of my top 2 favorite hotels in the world. Incredible comfort and beauty walking through the open pathway to the wide open reception area. An immediate view of the beach-catching vibrant colors of purple and orange sky as the sun sets. The pool, the breakfast, the bar all out in the open. top notch service. Rooms that are filled with drinks, snacks and fine toiletries. Beds that say stay, sleep, relax. I cannot wait to return. The memories of this beautiful warm weathered oasis flood my mind on a cold winters day. Worth every dime. Definitely get the breakfast package.

We have pleasantly enjoyed our stay. Initially we had booked for 2 nights and ended up extending another night because we loved it that much. The service is beyond anything I have experienced in Bali, it has exceeded all my expectations and I would highly recommend. The staff are so friendly, greet you by your name, remember your breakfast order and go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. It’s an oasis in the heart of Seminyak, so well located that it doesn’t feel like you’re in the centre of it all. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. I can’t wait to be back!

We stayed at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali for 2 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful and unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was warm, attentive and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Even the GM and the entire team were extremely thoughtful and present at every step. They took care of every small detail, whether it was our intermittent fasting requirements, special meal timing, or our room upgrade request — everything was handled smoothly and with a smile. What touched us the most was the way they created beautiful surprise moments for our big day, making it feel truly personal and heartfelt. The service, hospitality and overall ambience were exceptional and classy in every way. This celebration has become a lifetime memory for us, deeply imprinted in our hearts. We will cherish this forever.

As a frequent traveller (usually Four Seasons) and my third stay at an Oberoi in under 2 months, I had high expectations, and The Oberoi exceeded them with ease. Our stay began with a warm, personal welcome at check-in from the delightful GM John Halpin, who took the time to share insights from his distinguished career in hospitality - a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone. The grounds and our room were immaculately presented, with clear attention to detail and a genuine commitment to going above and beyond. There was a minor mix-up with one dish for my partner (mine was excellent), but the way the team handled it truly stood out - professional, gracious, and eager to make things right. Would I return? Absolutely! A true gem of paradise, seamlessly tucked into an otherwise busy area, and a property that understands hospitality at its finest.

Our stay was exceptional — no detail overlooked. The Oberoi Bali remains our favourite hotel. The staff are outstanding with a level of service that feels genuine and thoughtful and so rare to find. The rooms are elegant, and the food is consistently excellent. The grounds are particularly special. The traditional Indonesian architecture is breathtaking — a cinematic blend of Balinese design and lush, secluded landscaping. Thatched roofs, stone carvings and private pools create a sense of privacy and calm, with a timeless quality that feels both considered and effortless. The only downside to this property is how sad you are when your stay comes to a close!
