The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

We absolutely loved our stay at The Oberoi Bali. Despite being right in the heart of busy Seminyak, the moment you step through the gates it feels like entering a completely different world. The hotel is a true sanctuary, peaceful, beautifully landscaped, and incredibly relaxing. One of the things we appreciated most was how spacious the property feels. Rather than trying to maximise the number of rooms, The Oberoi has clearly prioritised open space, lush gardens and a sense of tranquillity. It never feels crowded, making it the perfect place to unwind. If you’re looking for a lively party hotel, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re after somewhere to truly relax and recharge while still being within walking distance of Seminyak’s restaurants, shops and beach, it’s hard to beat. What really sets The Oberoi apart, however, is its staff. I have stayed in many luxury hotels where the service is efficient and polite, but the team here goes well beyond that they genuinely make you feel at home. They remember your face, greet you warmly each day, and nothing is ever too much trouble. If you ask for something, it’s taken care of promptly and, unlike at many hotels, it isn’t forgotten. Even staff who aren’t directly serving you, including the gardeners, take the time to smile, say hello and make you feel welcome. It’s these small touches that create such a memorable experience. The Oberoi Bali is one of those rare hotels where the exceptional service matches the beauty of the property. We left feeling relaxed, cared for and already looking forward to returning.

We stay at the Oberoi Beach Resort Bali every two years for varying lengths of time. We have recommended this property to everyone we know travelling to Bali looking for a traditional Balinese retreat. The resort is the most peaceful and serene hotel you could possible wish for. The staff are the most considerate and kind, without being unauthentic. The accommodations are set out in the tradition of a Balinese village with amazing gardens and open areas. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard every day and the food offered at the resort is of an extremely high level. Why would you need to go anywhere else? We rarely do and always look forward to our next trip with happy anticipation.

We spent the most wonderful week at The Oberoi Seminyak. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after incredibly well, no request was ever too much, and any requests we made were addressed immediately, with real care. My son has food allergies, and the team went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and well catered for at every meal. The staff were wonderfully attentive and supportive when my kids were unwell, it made a stressful moment so much easier to manage, and we were deeply grateful. Mr Ptsudiana, one of the managers, personally checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Every single staff member we encountered, from the restaurants to housekeeping to concierge, was warm, genuine, and endlessly helpful. Shout out to Mei, Listia, all the Frangipani cafe staff, and evening staff at Kura Kura! The property itself is stunning, overlooking the beach, surrounded by lush green landscaping, with easy access to the water. Our villa was kept spotless throughout. The food was fresh and delicious, and afternoon tea quickly became a favourite part of our day. The hotel organised lovely activities for both kids and adults, flying kites on the beach was a real highlight for our family. We also loved browsing the beautiful hand-carved wooden and nautilus shell pieces displayed by local artists. The activities person went out of their way and bought us a handmade rindik (a traditional Balinese instrument) to take home. The Balinese dance performance was absolutely stunning. Overall, this was one of the most beautiful and well-run properties we’ve stayed at, and the hospitality was second to none. We left feeling completely cared for, and we can’t wait to return.

One of the best hotel resorts in the world. Customer service is second to none with staff referring to you by name. Great location. Luxurious well mainatined Villas which are cleaned or tidied several times a day. Extensive food menu with plenty of differnet dishes to try during our two week stay.
