I the heart of Seminyak directly to the The sea,in colonial style ,with full balinais flavour, rooms a bitt tiny but you have a nice trace if you got one facing the sea, food is great with Indian nice touch, service and room service well trained and Guest oriented. They are ready to help and go out of their wat to satisfy the client.

This is truly a phenomenal well run hotel at the beaches of Seminyak. Service is at the upper end of five star where everything is absolutely perfect! We have stayed in Oberoi before in India and the super high standards are applicable to all their hotels. Seminyak is very crowded town and busy, but the Balinese style hotel is like a true oasis of rest. They serve great wines, food etc. the restaurant serves fabulous and very tasty food. For leisure there is the beach, pool, tennis, spa gym etc. No need to be bored! If you go to Bali and you don't mind spending money on a great hotel this should be on top of your list! Expect US/european prices with a 500% better service.

We stayed in a villa room and it was a lovely experience particularly with the private room and the in room service. The staff are very friendly and do their best. I was a bit disappointed for they promote an Ayuverdic massage service but it is not the real experience so do not chose this service for they are unable to provide it. All in all very nice experience.

I'm just back from a four day break with my husband , he needed a much needed rest as if work stress. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff with iced ginger t , we were then shown to our room which we both like . But unfortunately there was a cremation ceremony on the beach which took place at 3am over a loud speaker which kept us awake until the early hours , this went on for 2 of our four nights, we spoke to the reception staff but they were not helpful , we then spoke with the manager who offered to change our room but said he was fully booked so would see what he could do , he then offered us 1 glass of wine each , which my husband refused , we found this to be an insult considering the rooms are $700 a night. So will not be returning . We go to Bali twice a year and feel this was not dealt with efficiently . Would like to say the pool stall amazing including the life guard

It’s been some years since my wife and I last stayed at the Oberoi Bali. Not sure why really; so many new resorts have opened in the Seminyak area and I guess we wanted to check out the competition. Checking in at the Oberoi after a few nights at a newish luxury resort in Seminyak we realised just how much better the Oberoi is by comparison. The gardens are still lush, the rooms and public spaces are immaculate, and the staff offer unparalleled service; nothing is too much trouble for them. Everyone from the gardener to the managers you meet along the way greets you warmly with genuine smiles and palms clasped in Balinese style. Having stayed at some of the most expensive resorts in Seminyak (The Legian, The Samaya and Alila Seminyak) I can safely say that the Oberoi comes up tops when it comes to service standards. Our recent 4-night stay at the Oberoi was perfect at every level. Everything seems to run like a well-oiled machine under the supervision of the very personable GM John Halpin. Housekeeping standards are superb. The breakfast spread is simply marvellous, with everything cooked to order. The little touches by the poolside, like sun-glass cleaning service and complimentary fruit skewers, sorbet and afternoon tea are extremely thoughtful. The beach fronting the Oberoi is without a doubt the best; it doesn't shelve steeply like it does at other hotels along Seminyak and is always patrolled by Oberoi’s sharp-eyed lifeguards. The Oberoi is a real classic. For a hotel that has been around for almost four decades, it is in amazingly good shape. I hear that an upgrade is in the pipeline: an adults-only infinity pool away from sometimes noisy kids would be nice (sigh), a larger and better equipped gym definitely, and I’d love to see the deck chairs reinstated by the beach fronting the villas. I am hoping that whatever renovations the Oberoi undergoes in the future, it will always retain its timeless and classic Balinese style. Returning to Oberoi after a few years’ break, we felt like we were coming home. That in itself speaks volumes of the Oberoi Bali.
