We have stayed in some great hotels on holiday, but we find it hard to find good enough words to describe what a wonderful hotel the Oberoi is. One of the things that separates this hotel from other good hotels in Seminyak is its authentic Balinese style. The grounds are beautiful, rooms luxurious, food excellent and the staff made our stay so relaxing and pleasurable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Every member of staff always had a fantastic smile to greet you. Our memories of the Oberoi in Bali will remain with us forever!

The total experience is just brilliant. From arrival to departure the entire experience is worth the amount you pay. It is expensive because you also get the best. It is a beautiful resort although the rooms are little old In looks but I kind of liked it. The beach is very close to the pool. I lived Frangipani - the view is amazing and the food is simply delicious. The most important fact is the staff - they are always ready to assist you and give you that additional but which you don't get in any their hotels. I have been here before and I would come back again very soon

My wife and I enjoyed 5 nights at this wonderful hotel. It certainly deserves its reputation as Bali's best hotel. The staff are efficient and charming. Everything about The Oberoi is first class. They also have an excellent photographer (Mila). Not something we would normally use but glad we did. She took some lovely photos. Only fault is that the beach is awash with plastic rubbish that flows down the rivers on either side of the property. The government has to drive change here - or Bali's tourism will dry up. They should learn from The Maldives and ban plastic bags etc.
