About the Hotel
Set into a verdant hillside, Pita Maha Resort & Spa wows guests with sweeping views across the Tjampuhan Ridge and the River Oos below. This boutique hotel is located in Bali’s cultural heartland of Ubud, which is proud of its charming, small artist enclaves. The breezy lobby affords gorgeous vistas of the surrounding tropical woodlands and rice terraces, while guests sip Brem Barong upon arrival. The resort encompasses 24 private pool villas scattered across the slope in a style reminiscent of a Balinese village. Guest accommodations blend light-filled interiors with nature outdoors by way of floor-to-ceiling windows and the far wall nearly entirely comprised of large sliding glass doors. All villas are decorated in contemporary Balinese fashion with intricate carvings, original artwork and patterns balanced by modern amenities like flat-screen televisions and mini bars. Bathrooms are outfitted with separate showers and sunken bathtubs.

Best experience
I took my mum to Pita Maha for a mother daughter trip. We had a free upgrade as a surprise when we arrived! The staff were so welcoming and accommodating the entire time. Our view to the forest was breathtaking, the bed was set beautifully, the outdoor shower was my favourite. It was the best resort experience I’ve had. Thank you to the amazing staff who looked after us, suksama!

Buried in the greenery
Very nice hotel located in the beautiful scenery with view over the river and the forest. Swimming pool is big and pleasant. Villas are spacious and comfortable. You can feel the spirit of Ubud in here. They even have beautiful split gateway of their own and you can take a great picture without even leaving the hotel

Tranquil Pita Maha
The most tranquil stay at Pita Maha, you walk 50 metres off the busy Ubud road to a serene and tranquil outlook to beautifully maintained tropical gardens and the Tjampuhan River Valley. The aesthetic of the villa was beautiful giving a truly Balinese feel with rustic sandstone and marble vibes with all amenities required for a comfortable stay.
