With an address like no other, The St. Regis Bali Resort brings barefoot sophistication and chic elegance to the soft, sandy beaches of Nusa Dua, the Garden of Bali. As the azure waters of the Indian Ocean gently meet the sandy beach running along the front of the resort, the sounds of the lush jungle behind fills the air, creating an atmosphere that is pure tropical paradise. The resortâ€(TM)s private gardens, pools, calm lagoon and exquisitely appointed suites and villas feel more like a decadent private residence than a resort. The St. Regis is utter refinement at home, in the lap of a luxurious natural paradise.

Another wonderful stay at this paradise of a resort. Chef Agung made the dining a wonderful and personalized experience. Tin also made sure that we were very comfortable and the butler service gave us fresh fruit and mangosteens every day — our favorite! Every time we come back we find the hotel is beautifully and meticulously manicured. I cannot recommend it enough and find it well worth repeat stays.

My husband and I spent 28 hours at the St. Regis Bali to break up the long trip home to NYC after 4 weeks in Indonesia, If we had known what a delightful property it is ,we would have spent longer. Although it is only 20 to 30 minutes to the airport, it is a world away in terms of beauty and tranquily. The entry is spectacular as you drive through verdant tree groves and then walk into the open lobby with an expansive ocean view and a cheerful and friendly gamelan player announcing your arrival by sounding the gong and placing a flower behind your ear. As with everything we experienced in our short stay, the St. Regis does a great job of blending theatricality with warmth and serenity. We infinitely preferred it to the Jimbaran Bay hotel area. We stayed in a Strand Villa.with a large living room, spacious bedroom, huge bathroom with a long, deep tub , and roomy shower and a highly entertaining Kohler toilet! The outdoor space is múltiples of the size of most hotel rooms including lounge chairs, table, a beautifully cushioned bale abutting a pool with fun water spouts (we estimated the pool was about 30 feet long),lawn, outdoor shower and walkway to a door opening to the beach. The sound of the ocean throughout the outdoor space is fantastic. Each Strand Villa gets its own pair of umbrella shaded lounge chairs. The hotel has a vast expense of white sand beach and the Indian Ocean extending endlessly. It was never crowded or noisy. We had dinner at Kayuputi, their fine dining restaurant and were dazzled by the outdoor booths with ethereal curtains and the ocean breeze. The food is sophisticated, very fresh and delicious. Breakfast at Boneka is quite impressive with buffet Ãtems ranging from local fruit to house made yogurt, to cold meats and cheeses, great breads including dense multigrain,Indonesian soups ,and made to order egg dishes ,etc. And yes, the famous lobster omelet in lobster bisque is wonderful. Every staff member we interacted with was gracious and helpful. The butler service is outstanding whether in person (they have an uncanny ability to be at your side when needed) or via WhatsApp. They offer free 1 hour clothes pressing which we used twice and it was done perfectly. Because we were celebrating our 50th anniversary, we were lavished with small gifts of great charm and a welcome spread of treats on arrival to our suite including a luscious raspberry chocolate cake we devoured on our beach chairs after dinner under the starry sky. A really romantic memory. We plan to return on our next trip to Bali with time to enjoy the spa, Indonesian restaurant and the serene splendor of the beach side villa.

Our stay at The St. Regis Bali Resort was truly unforgettable and honestly one of the most special hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We arrived just two days after getting engaged, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated, welcomed, and genuinely cared for every moment of our stay. A very special thank you to Giovanni, the F&B Director, who is an absolute star in hospitality. His warmth, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests are on another level. You can immediately feel his leadership throughout the resort, every dining experience felt thoughtful, polished, and personal. Giovanni has an incredible ability to turn moments into memories, and he played such a huge role in making this trip so meaningful for us. We also have to recognize the incredible butler team, especially Tin and Dita. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask, checked in thoughtfully throughout our stay, and made us feel completely at home. Their kindness and sincerity are exactly what luxury hospitality should be. No hotel stay is ever completely perfect, and we did experience a few glitches during our visit. What stood out to us, however, was how the team handled everything. Harry and Giovanni addressed each situation with such grace, professionalism, and care that it actually strengthened our impression of the resort. Problems happen, true luxury is defined by how people respond, and this team responded exceptionally. The level of hospitality at the St. Regis Nusa Dua is rare. It never felt transactional; it felt heartfelt. We left feeling celebrated, appreciated, and already dreaming about returning.

My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis Bali for 4 nights. While maybe not 5 stars across every category, the resort certainly deserves a 5 overall, and is one of the top resort experiences we’ve ever had. Room 4/5 All the rooms at this St. Regis are categorized as villas. We had two bookings- 1 to use our annual free night and 1 for the remaining 3. They made sure we didn’t have to change rooms since they were back to back bookings and as Platinum Elite, we were upgraded to the next category of villa, which had a spacious and beautiful backyard and a dipping pool. The room was more of a large studio in my opinion, although it had a separate entry and large closet. The living room and bed shared the same space with a curtain that could separate the two, and felt quite comfortable. We received hats, a bag, and welcome snacks and fruit. Snacks (usually some kind of sweet like macarons or madelines) and fruit were replaced daily during turn down. The bathroom was spacious and we appreciated the separation of the toilet for privacy. I appreciated the Balinese styling of the room, and was really impressed by some of the wood carving in the furniture— so beautiful. However, we did find the room slightly aged and it seemed like it wasn’t very well insulated, as it felt quite humid inside even with continuous a/c. The backyard was stunning in design but a bit hard to enjoy in practice due to the amount of mosquitos (what can you do). The pool was overly chlorinated. We ended up spending most of our time at the pool and beach instead. The Grounds/ Service 5/5 The resort is beautiful - from the moment you drive through the gates to the lobby, lush gardens, staircases, pools, beach… it’s all amazing and what you expect of the St. Regis brand. The pool side and the beaches have plenty of cabanas and umbrellas/ seating, and someone is always there to help set up your chair with towel coverings and cold water. The beach is large and very clean. Staff come by periodically to offer a complimentary snack or drink - felt like it was every 30 minutes or so. If you were hanging out a long time they’d even come by with fresh bottles of cold water. If the spot we were in became too sunny, they kindly helped us move to another spot. We felt so pampered. More examples of excellent service: As afore mentioned, Bali has a lot of mosquitos and unfortunately my citronella based spray was not deterring them at all. I asked the butler that had arrived for turn down service if they had any mosquito spray in the gift shop. He told to just wait 2 minutes, left the room and promptly returned with a bottle for me. I was surprised and really appreciated the thoughtfulness. We were provided with a Butler service WhatsApp number, which was very convenient. Questions and requests were promptly answered. Like astonishingly quickly. Everyone was professional, friendly and warm. Several staff engaged us in conversation and felt like they genuinely wanted to talk to us. In particular, we had a couple really nice conversations with the beach / recreation staff. Food 4/5 I’m hard to impress when it comes to food, but the food at the St. Regis was pretty good. Breakfast was generous and had a large variety, with daily changes to keep it interesting. It was mostly a buffet with the option of ordering a variety of small dishes (some not even very small), which felt very generous. We really like snake fruit and ate it every morning. After the first day, I noticed they had refilled our room fruit plate to include one. On another morning I noticed another patron was eating mangosteen. I asked a waitress if they had any and she brought us a plate - and again, later that day, a mangosteen appeared on our fruit plate in the room - yet another example of excellent service and attention to detail. We had the buffet dinner one time and it was a similar format with mixed buffet, small plate ordering, and also included a grill. I noticed some repeats from breakfast which was fine since there was such a large variety. Quality was better than most buffets out there. We also ate at the Dulang restaurant which had a set menu, showcasing Balinese food - and we quite enjoyed that. I don’t remember the price, but it was reasonable for a high end resort and the dishes had great presentation and were all quite good. There were also two Balinese dances during dinner which added to the ambiance. Marriott Bonvoy Recognition 5/5 I already mentioned earlier that we were granted a room upgrade as Platinum Elite. In addition, we were granted 4pm check out the last day. Our rate included breakfast and we were offered the choice of 1000 points or 30 minutes foot massage (for two people) at the Spa. We chose the massage and it was excellent. I could go on and on but this is getting ridiculously long, so I’ll stop it here, as I feel like I’ve made my point that this place is amazing and I’ve sufficiently fawned over this place!

Our stay at The St. Regis Bali Resort was truly extraordinary and unforgettable. We received a surprise room upgrade, received friendly and impeccable service from the entire staff, and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's facilities, including the spa, massage, and well-equipped gym. Thank you to Ms. Lita (receptionist) for assisting with check-in, Mr. Andi (butler) for promptly attending to our needs, and Mr. Wira and Mr. Gara for their heartfelt breakfast service. We would especially like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Agung, the head chef, who treated us to all the delicious specialties. The breakfast here was truly unlike any other hotel we've stayed at. It was so comprehensive and delicious, it felt like brunch. Thank you, St. Regis Bali. It was a short but memorable night, making us want to stay again.
