This hotel breathes service and you can sense all people are trained well to make this happen. From your 'butler' to the whats app service to communicate for any need you may have, it has been given a thorough thought with you in the centre. The hotel is not the newest on the block but yet nicely done and with a local touch, nice garden. The pool directly at the beach is nice if you want a quick swim while on the beach. But in between the houses there is a huge pool. I have never seen such a large pool in my entire life with a hotel. The beach is very beautiful, very white sand and wide too with comfortable beds. Easy access to the sea as not too many rocks and protected by a reef. Besides the bar at the beach for drinks and lunch there is a very nice restaurant for lunch and dinner and more up market. Very nice variation of food, try the apple cake with ice-cream. It should be illegal! The main restaurant is a bit large which makes it a bit unpersonal and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Though its either a la carte or buffet they have every evening a buffet with a very very wide offering. I like to mention the breakfast. Never have I had such an extensive choice of items in one breakfast. The choice is simply unbelievable and all good. On top of being a 'buffet' your waiters will show you a card with specials, omelette with lobster or a balinese tower (thin crust of dough with caramel etc etc. Or they will gladly make you a special mix of fruits (juices.) Think about it and they will make it. Also here the service is outstanding. Mr.Bagus, you were superb. Special note, the room is large and if full its loud. On top of that try not to sit next to the service stations where staff is gathering plates, cutlery etc and this is noisy and one can find it disturbing. When we booked all pool villa's (some 40 of them I believe.) were occupied but we managed to see on for future stays. Very nice with own little pool and all have direct access to the larger pool in front. Hence we stayed in the normal rooms in the main building. Rooms are very large with a entry hall, dressing room and bath room separated from the main room which holds a large desk, a sitting area and a large comfortable bed. Again, all very nicely done with Asian influence. Furthermore there is a well sized balcony and the second room we had on the ground floor has a plunge pool. In all fairness, I recommend you not to book these pool rooms. There is not too much light and the rooms were a bit smelly and believe it because of being directly in the garden with many plants around causing the mouldy smell due to the humid environment. Instead opt for a room on a higher floor. A second matter to think about is that the rooms facing north (side of the hotel) look at this moment at a construction site of the Shangrila hotel. Disturbance was minimal sound wise but its not what ones favours when going to a holiday likes this. We faced an issue during our stay of which I will not disclosed the nature but I like to extent my gratitude to Mrs.Nizel (front office manager.) for reaching out to us and can only say, it was dealt with fast and smoothly which totally was in line with the service and feeling of the St.Regis spirit. Thank you Mrs.Nizel. Though I have mentioned 2 names of staff which did a very good job I like to mention that all staff was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights after our last hotel cancelled and we are SO happy we did. The service was impeccable, as was the breakfast (best resort breakfast I’ve ever had) but the absolute highlight was the pool area. There was hardly anyone there and it is complete heaven. Sitting in the stunning empty pool bar sipping on piña coladas served in coconuts was what really made the trip go from excellent to unbelievable. They run a tight ship there - no stone left unturned. The best bit was the bill at the end....we predicted that we’d have to pay about double what we actually did. Drinks prices are very reasonable at the pool and beach and we didn’t accumulate many extras. Simply lovely!

I would highly recommend to go for afternoon tea in st regis if nothing else,my partner took me there and i was amazed by the service and food,selection of teas,mini desserts and sandwiches everything was outstanding and most importantly the price for two person was so reasonable. We were served by an amazing staff MR of the best staff working in St regis.#5starservice

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon and it was incredible. We didn't want to leave! Every single member of staff, from our butler to the receptionists to the security, were perfect. They were polite, eager to help, and always made sure you were ok without being overbearing. They truly made our honeymoon stay at the St Regis perfect, and we cannot praise them enough for that! The location was brilliant for us; it was not too far away from the airport, without being affected by any air traffic. It was close to various locations in and around Nusa Dua. Furthermore St Regis has its own private beach, with several pools should you not wish to go in the sea. The hotel had the choice of several, very lovely restaurants and a nice bar. There were also entertainment, should you require it, including free fire dances, water sports, free snooker table. The room was perfect. The room itself was huge; enough room for a desk, eating table, sofa and chairs. The bathroom was also large with a shower cubicle and separate bath. We also had a balcony if we wished to lounge and enjoy the weather. None of the above even describes the much needed A/C or fans, the amazing housekeeping who kept our room pristine each day, or the free 2 piece pressing service, which we made use of very often. Coming on to the food, I’ve never seen such a selection for breakfast. We truly had our pick of the best Western and Asian fare, all of which were delicious. I do not believe we’ve ever eaten so much for breakfast before staying at St Regis. I recommend the steak and eggs option, which was cooked to perfection. We also, as part of our honeymoon package, had a free buffet dinner at Boneka. The food here was absolutely incredible (I tried a selection of different meals, including a wonderful Nasi Goreng) and the atmosphere was perfect for a lovely dinner meal. All in all, the hotel and staff made our stay perfect, and it is very easy to state this was the best hotel either of us have ever stayed at to date.The only negative experience we encountered was with a taxi driver that the hotel booked for us - he was trying to get us to go to a different spa to the one we booked and kept telling us that we wouldn't make our appointment, he even claimed that he called our spa and that they told him the appointment would be cancelled as we would never make it. However we did make it on time as we told him that we had GPS on our phone. This wasn't the hotel's fault, just a shame that the company they used had a bad driver. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A wonderful family holiday at the St Regis - made slightly complicated by the need for emergency surgery on the leg of our teenage son. It was only “slightly” because of the exceptional efforts of the Hotel’s head butler, Carlos Costanzo, who went way above and well beyond to make a rather traumatic experience as frictionless as possible - not only through the all-nighter of the event itself, but every day of our stay thereafter. Carlos is an ambassador of St Regis and gift to humanity. Thank you St Regis and thank you Carlos.
