Not so far from downtown ubud, we can already find its location. Incidentally, we arrived at 8 o'clock at night, but the atmosphere we felt was not scary at all. Very well maintained and neat for all things. We will find a receptionist that unlike most other inns. Unique, that's my thought. The actual inn is long enough, but I think almost all travel drivers have known this place as a special inn. We were ushered in by one of the staff, explaining the details of all the hotel provided to the shuttle car facility if we are interested to watch the show kecak, and so on around ubud. Provided ice cubes, welcome juice drinks from fresh fruit passion fruit combinations, home made slice cake, and basket of fruit. My Rating: Room Cleanliness: very perfect, natural therapeutic aroma of savory flowers, adds a very romantic atmosphere. Room Facilities: Perfect for honeymoon, we will not be given interaction with TV but still get wifi access and there is a player equipped with music DVD which is ok. this is what I think is very appropriate. Moreover, the private pool is somewhat closed from the view of people from outside, so the activity with the couple in the pool area can be more romantic. Cleanliness of the Bathroom: it is perfect Bathroom Facilities: there is a bathub and there is an outdoor shower. but the outdoor shower is still very privacy, will not be accessible to others from outside. one less, perhaps it would be better to add a bidet to the closet and the natural therapeutic aroma in the bath room, perhaps from the flowers. Spa facilities: Perfect, with view of the river ayung Amenities Restaurant, Nice food for breakfast, not served buffet. there are 4 choices of package menu type. Good Coffe taste. in our opinion, better if still want to laze in the room, just enjoy your morning by ordering breakfast at the room. The Innkeepers are really detail attention to the needs of each customer. It's really a very private inn, very quiet but not memorable lonely for us visitors. we seemed to enjoy the private villa. VERY MIXED FOR HONEYMOON, Second Honey moon and Your next and soon Honey Moon. When we leave the deck, almost all staff will say goodbye.

I will write in English and Arabic راح اكتب بالإنجليزي والعربي The view from the room or waking in bath way to the villa is amazing. If you took a regular villa the pool is very small. So we changed to the bigger villa for a bigger poo for a good price. For anyone that doesn’t like nature as we are, I don’t recommend taking the villas at all. The seating area and the dining room is outdoor. Full of insects and different animals. But the staff were very friendly. Helping us with everything we needed. The breakfast is ok. But not everything is available. You can order it to the room or have it at the restaurant. The place is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the nature. We have shuttle van to the center. And they are flexible you can choose sometimes the place that you want to go to, if it near the center. I won’t go back there only because of the bugs and insects.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Semana. The staff was kind and helpful, our villa was well-appointed and overlooked a small, tiered rice paddy. We went in December so it was a little too cold to enjoy our private plunge pool or the hotel's infinity pool but we didn't feel like we were missing out at all. They also provided a fruit basket that was replenished daily. We hired one of their drivers for a half day to take us to a few sites and also took a cooking class. We were the only ones participating in the class so it was a very intimate, hands-on experience. They took us to a market, explained the different foods, stopped at a spice merchant (who had her spiel down to sell spices!), and back to the hotel for our class. My friend said uber was a thing in Bali but we could never get anyone to pick us up anywhere so the free hotel shuttle definitely came in handy. The hotel is located a little outside of town and if they don't have other guests that need to be dropped off in town, they accommodated us by dropping us where we needed to go. We went when the volcano was going off so occupancy was quite low. I've never written a TripAdvisor review before but am now since I hope it will help others make the decision to stay at Villa Semana. I don't want to see the place close down! A magnificent gem of a hotel!
