W Bali, Seminyak

Wow! What an amazing place. We stayed for 8 days at the W and cannot say enough good things about it and above all the staff. Our rooms were spacious and fantastically well equipped, huge bathrooms and an equally well appointed balcony. Breakfast was a highlight every day with a huge amount of food to choose from plus cooked breakfast which was brought to you by the smiling staff. By the pool we were spoilt with a man even coming to clean your glasses, plus complimentary juices brought round. The hotel is stunning - decor fabulous and staff the best I have come across. Well done! 10/10 we miss you all already.

The W Bali has tremendous potential, and the best part of the property is unquestionably the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and attentive. This morning at breakfast I met Idid—I may have the spelling wrong—and he was exceptional. The staff consistently checked on me throughout my stay to make sure I was enjoying myself, sometimes almost too often, but I appreciated the effort and genuine hospitality. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not match the people or the price. The food was consistently disappointing and rarely inviting enough to keep me on property. My room had stained furniture, the shower wand attached to the tub didn’t work, and even the welcome fruit—while a nice gesture—arrived without cutlery. At the FIT gym, the cold plunge (inside) was warm, and the outdoor water dispenser produced warm water from the cold tap. The biggest issue for me was pricing. I compared the hotel’s car service with readily available local options and found the W’s pricing to be roughly 425% to 625% higher. I raised this with a manager and was told they would find me a better price. That never happened, and the original amount I had objected to was ultimately placed on my bill. For what I received, I honestly cannot say this stay represented either luxury or value. I’ll be back in Bali in January, but I will not be returning to the W. Unfortunately for Marriott, the other hotels I’m considering are not Marriott properties. The people at the W Bali deserve a property experience that is as good as they are.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at W Bali – Seminyak was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, everything was so clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect. Our room was stunning, spacious and comfortable, and the whole experience was definitely worth the money. The food was amazing — every meal we had was delicious and exceeded our expectations. But what really made our stay so special was the staff. Every single staff member was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and they truly made us feel at home. A special thank you to Navuel and ToTo for going above and beyond during our stay. Your beautiful smiles, kindness and friendliness made our experience even more memorable. ❤️ We honestly couldn’t recommend W Bali – Seminyak enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean hotel in a great location, with incredible rooms, amazing food and exceptional service, you absolutely have to experience the W experience just like we did! Thank you to the entire W Bali team for making our holiday so unforgettable. We will miss all your beautiful smiles and friendliness and can’t wait to come back! ✨

I took my younger sister to the W in Seminal, Bali to watch the Sunset and have a vino, as she had not been there - I had been there about 3 years before - WELL!! I was so disappointed - the place looked old and dilapidated; the cushions on all the couches were grubby and dirty (yuck) - we honestly did not want to sit on them! We could not watch the Sunset as we were told there were private functions at the bars we wanted to sit at later that evening - what a waste of our time, cab fares to get there and back etc., etc., - never again! To The Management: you seriously need to renovate The W as it is awful!!
