We had an amazing 11-night stay at W Bali - Seminyak. The location is one of the best parts right on Seminyak Beach, making it perfect for both relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The room was always clean, well-organized, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was consistently great with a wide variety, and the facilities, including the gym, pool, and spa, were all top quality. What stood out the most was the service. During our stay, we were unwell for a few days, and the team handled everything with care and professionalism, arranging medical support directly to our room, which we truly appreciated. A special thanks to Mr. Every and Miss Ella for their kindness and support, as well as the thoughtful farewell gesture that made a great ending to our stay. Overall, a memorable experience and definitely a place we would recommend

It's a nice hotel. The room was comfy, service was good and breakfast spread was big. The pool was nicely landscaped too. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room did appear a little dated and in need of a refurbishment. Secondly, and this is the main issue, it was extremely crowded due to two separate events, one corporate and one wedding, with half the hotel closed off for works or for hosting this event. With these spaces fenced off, it made the public areas feel much smaller, and some communication beforehand would have been appreciated as it may have made us reconsider our stay for a quieter hotel further along the coast.

The service was pleasant from check-in to check-out. The beachfront area is very nice, although we were not able to swim because the waves were extremely high. However, the hotel has a nice nearby seating area with drink and food service. Regarding the room, the furniture was a bit outdated. The out door area in the villa itself also did not get enough sunlight, and the location of the sunbeds was not practical or comfortable. The villa pool was very disappointing and not clean at all. It did not seem to have a proper pumping or filtration system, and we could see all kinds of dirt in the water. When I asked them to clean it, they brought a manual cleaning tool, but I could still see a layer of oil on the surface. On the other hand, the hygiene level in the villa was very low. The shower area was not cleaned properly during our entire stay. I also asked for an extra blanket, but they brought me a very old one. Breakfast was neat, and they have two restaurants for breakfast: one mostly outdoors and the other indoors. Another positive point is that there is a shopping street and several restaurants nearby, which makes the location convenient. There is no ATM and no currency exchange available at the property. Overall, the hotel has some strong points. However, the cleanliness, villa pool maintenance, room hygiene, and overall room condition need serious improvement to match the expected standard.

We stayed at W Bali – Seminyak recently. Staff were very friendly as always, and the villa itself (aside from wear on the wooden decks) remains in very good condition. Breakfast at Starfish Bloo was enjoyable, though consistently busy. Unfortunately, the ongoing renovation significantly impacts the experience. Construction noise was not overbearing but constantly present, and the atmosphere around the pool was affected. What disappointed us most was the lack of proactive communication: despite inquiring directly after booking after we read some posts online, we were given shifting timelines for Woobar’s reopening, and no clear information before arrival. On property, a simple “apologies for the inconvenience” is not enough for a luxury brand. We even cancelled our second stay and moved to another Seminyak property because of this. W Bali will likely be excellent again once renovations are complete, but until then, guests should proactively check with the hotel shortly before arrival to understand the current situation and decide if it suits them.
