Located right in the middle of MG road, the Hyatt is a perfect hotel for an overnight stay, especially if you are a solo business traveler. The reason I say that is because the room size is best fit for a single occupant. While the room is tastefully designed & is comfortable, its quite small compared to most city 5 star hotels. However, I must compliment the designers/architect for utilizing every possible space in the room. The bathroom is also a bit cramped but well equipped. The hotel is under construction so the unavailability of the pool was a bit of a damper. The food & service is excellent and the check-in check-out process is extremely efficient. It was one of the fastest check-ins & check-outs I have experienced. One thing that many hotels need to learn especially for a business traveler. I opted for the Lake View rooms which were priced at about 10-15% higher than the normal rooms. However, there is absolutely no lake view whatsoever from the room & its best for one to avoid that extra cost & opt for a standard room instead. A great option for someone looking for a stay in the middle of the city for a night or two. A Modern and Minimalist hotel that gives you great service - if you don't mind small spaces that is.

The hotel staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and professional. The room and food were also great. Some renovation are ongoing but it did not really affect me. I was out for most of the day so did not notice any nose from the renovations. There is a mall next door along with a McDonald's and a few other outlets. It does not feed like it is in the middle of a central are but there is a few places to eat nearby (did not try them). I would definitely recommend this place.

You enter the hotel through a set of large road gates and go past security including a metal detector to get into the lobby as is common in India. The staff were universally friendly and helpful and were always willing to go the extra mile. The room was as expected for a hotel of this type and was clean. It had a large wardrobe, safe, chaise longue and desk. The bathroom was OK and had a nice large shower area. Every morning the Indian Times was delivered and every evening there was a turn down service with a small bed time snack left on the bed. I paid extra for fast WiFi and got about 6mbps which was enough to watch streaming video for the most part. It is clear the hotel is undergoing renovation with the pool and some other areas closed off however it did not effect the stay too much. On the way to the restaurant was the only time you can see it, otherwise you could only hear it from about 10am. The restaurant was excellent as well as the bar, you had the choice of eating inside or outside on the patio.
