I had a great experience. The rooms were very large and comfortable. I thought is was five star plus. The plus is the amazingly attentive and friendly Indian staff. The outdoor pool was beautiful but a little chilly. I worked out in the gym and had an amazing 75 minute Swedish massage by the attendant (Mercy) that cost $42. Highly recommended. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of made-to-order options. Some of my friends in room 716 did experience construction noise. Avoid that wing if you can. Don't use the stairs to change floors. They seem to be for evacuation only.

If you are looking for a business boutique hotel to stay at which is value for money then this is it. Although the hotel is currently under renovation it still offers so much. The staff at this hotel are phenomenal and offer such an attentive service which really makes one's stay here all the more exceptional. The rooms are quite small but clean and efficient. As a business traveller who spends the whole day out and only puts their head down at night it serves my needs perfectly. The food at the hotel is to die for. If I stay for longer periods of time, I work my way through the menu as there is such a variety of culinary delights offered here. The breakfast buffet is excellent and value for money. There is nothing the chef will not do for you. After a hard days work and the madness of Bangalore traffic I relish in having a swim in the pool which has the ambience of a tropical oasis, a massage by the therapist Gopakumar (excellent) at the spa, and a steam/sauna which helps me to destress and sleep like a baby. I am looking forward to seeing the renovations completed at this hotel as I feel it will take this hotel to a five star status.

I stayed HYATT Bangalore for 1 night in Sep, 2017. I was alone and it was my first stay at the HYATT Bangalore. Unlike the many hotel staff in other hotels in India, the hotel staff of HYATT Bangalore were not only friendly but happy to give hospitality. They were not only doing the given work to be done but to make the guests comfortable and happy. They were willing to give assistance at early morning to late evening for many little requests from my side. They provided so much of services with their smiles. I enjoyed their breakfast. It had good variety of food from continental to Indian. I had a soup noodle with flat rice powder noodle, too! They are currently under the renovation, but they still secure the tranquil atmosphere and enough facility to provide pleasant stay for the guests. They have small Gym, Outdoor Pool, Sauna & Steam Bath, too. Spa works until 11 pm and guests can take good massage in there. I enjoyed my stay and decided to come back to stay HYATT Bangalore for my up-coming trip to Bangalore.

The rooms and hallway are not in good shape and reek of smoke. The hotel is undergoing renovation and needs a lot of work. The rooms are pretty spartan and small. I didn't enjoy my stay at the property.
