Good overall experience. Rooms are clean. Breakfast & dinner spread is simple but nice. Dessert spread is excellent. Central location makes it a perfect place for business travellers moving around the city.

Premium Prices, Average Experience
I recently stayed at Hyatt Centric MG Road and found the overall experience to be below expectations, especially given the premium pricing. Breakfast service: Staff were courteous but seemed stretched during busy hours. Requests often took longer than expected, and there was little proactive engagement. Food quality: The items available were fresh and well-prepared, but the limited spread made the meal feel uninspired compared to other Hyatt properties. Ambience: The dining area was cramped, with inadequate seating. The atmosphere felt rushed and crowded rather than relaxed, and the décor did little to elevate the experience. Menu variety: The options were minimal, lacking both international favorites and local specialties. For a brand like Hyatt, a more diverse and thoughtfully curated menu is expected. Beyond breakfast, the room experience was disappointing. Rooms were small and poorly lit with natural light, making them feel less inviting. As a Hyatt Explorist member, I was surprised not to receive the usual welcome fruit, dessert basket, or personalized greeting — benefits that are standard at other Hyatt locations. Overall, the stay did not feel like value for money. The premium prices charged were not justified by the near-average experience delivered. Hyatt Centric MG Road has potential, but it needs significant improvement in service consistency, room comfort, and recognition of loyal members to truly match the brand’s reputation.
