Reviews for The Leela Palace Bengaluru
This hotel is aptly named "palace". First class all the way. We stayed on both the club floor and in a standard room. I felt that the standard rooms were excellent, and club rooms were a level ahead than excellent, our rate includes complimentary cocktails, hors d'ouvres and breakfast were lovely. The staff, services and facilities are top rate. I had a massage, used the gym and sat by the stunning pool - the best club house sandwich and fries I have had in a long time. As well, we dined in all of the restaurants, the Indian and Thai/Chinese restaurants were fabulous - world class.
We stayed at the Leela, Bangalore for two nights in Feb., 2017 and thought it was wonderful .We have traveled quite a bit, and have come to believe that the last nights of a holiday should be spent at a great hotel..for some reason the whole holiday seems to be colored by the experience of the last place we stay. So it was the Leela for our tour of India, and it certainly was a treat. Our travel agent booked us on the Royal Club floor which is really meant for business travelers .However, as weary tourists we really enjoyed the pampering. The hotel is very beautiful, the food was great, and the staff was wonderful. We found the hospitality industry in India to be more professional as in Europe or America.
I had the most fantastic experience in this hotel, I stayed at the "private suite" 5 th floor with private restaurant . The interior is of sheer opulence and grandeur, I totally loved the room, fantastic beds and the bathroom is stunnig. The SPA is excellent and do try the ayurveda massages. Staff was absolutely fantastic (I can only speak for the 5th floor private concierge how went out of their way to organize my rather odd requests)
One of the best hotels in the world. From the moment you step onto the forecourt you are ensconced in luxury. The lobby is a marble paradise, the rooms are opulent and have the best beds you will ever sleep in your life. My wife and i are planning to go back to Bangalore just to stay at the Leela for a few days...What a Hotel.
The Leela is truly a palace. We stayed there only one night. I asked for a garden view and room was just amazing. We had dinner at the Zen restaurant. The food and service was good. But, the Indian restaurant looked like an experience, wish we had dinned there. Breakfast at the coffee shop was wonderful. Rooms are great, bathrooms grand. We used the spa. I got the ayurveda treatment. I can't wait to experience that again. It was the best spa treatment ever. They have showers in the treatment rooms. The grounds are so well kept. The entrance is beautiful. visited 3 Countries and 6 cities on this trip. This was my favorite Hotel.
