The Leela Palace Bengaluru

Our first night at The Leela Palace Bengaluru and dinner at Citrus was unfortunately very disappointing. We had just come from a Taj property where the service was truly exceptional, so the contrast was stark. At Citrus, the service was inattentive and unfriendly. We ordered three pasta dishes for our children and only one arrived. After waiting 20 minutes, we inquired about the other two and were told they were on the way, but it became clear the order had not been placed properly and we had to reorder. Of those two, only one eventually arrived. The wait staff at our table seemed visibly annoyed whenever we placed an order, which made the experience uncomfortable. For a property of this caliber and price point, this level of service is unacceptable. Later that evening, we were locked out of our room. We stood in the hallway for 15 minutes waiting for assistance. No one came. After calling again, we waited an additional 10 minutes before someone finally arrived. The property itself is stunning, but service defines a luxury experience, and unfortunately it fell far short. Based on this experience, we would not return.

Had an amazing weekend at Leela . Everything was just perfect…food ,ambience ,company ( my friends) and the stay . The staff was very hands on and went an extra mile to make my stay memorable. A special mention for Deepshika who was so courteous & helping . ( I wish I can have someone like her in my company -:) -:) Highly recommend Leela if anyone is looking for a relaxing place to unwind .

Amazing hotel from start to finish. The welcome was warm, the room spacious with good amenities and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful although it could take a while for tea and coffee order - one morning I waited 20 mins. The gym had a good range of options but during morning periods can be busy. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were amazing with great service and food. Will stay again.

We stayed at The Leela last week and had a fabulous experience. As always, the team went above and beyond to make us feel truly special. A special mention to Deepshika — such a sweet girl with a very warm and innocent smile. Her thoughtful little gestures made our stay even happier and more memorable. If the management is reading this, she truly deserves great appreciation for her wonderful service.
