Hosted a small business meeting (25 people) who traveled from throughout India & North America. The Leela's banquet facilities, food & services were impeccable. Our server Subho attended to our every need (and change!) with ease, the food and selection were outstanding, and banquet manager Darpan oversaw 3-day event like a consummate pro. Only complaint to mention is overwhelming and annoying mosquitoes that raided our dinner on one of the hotels otherwise beautiful and peaceful terraces. We also used the services of the concierge and business center which were both top notch! Whether in Bangalore or Dehli, we'll definitely plan on hosting at the Leela again. Beyond the business aspects, the rooms are luxurious and well appointed, beds very comfy and housekeeping efficient and invisible. Club level concierges were very personable, attentive and helpful in providing information, small errands, and beverage service. Really enjoyed the daily exchange of hi/bye/need something as I passed their desk every day. On the last day, one of the club staff (Vikram) even made sure he was at the front desk to handle my checkout to be sure he could say goodbye. Very touching! And none of service or friendliness comes with the expectation of tips. When asked, the concierge even told me not to tip one of the drivers who had run an errand for me (but I did anyway ;). The entire staff is dedicated to excellent, friendly service and it showed in every department. That said, travelers, beware many hotel taxes ...on the room, food, darned near every thing. And the streets surround the LP are as insane as anywhere else in India, so unless you live there, don't plan to drive yourself. Money is easy to exchange (starting with the BLR airport), and shopping is plentiful. Overall an interesting trip, made even more interesting by the contrast between the Leela's luxury and Bangalore's everyday culture/surrounds. Thanks Leela!

This is a conventional 5 star deluxe property- just fabulous in every aspect. Rooms are luxurious, linen and beds are very comfortable. Rooms have all the amenities that you will possibly need, very large, private balcony, plenty of free mineral water, excellent housekeeping, very friendly staff- overall service par excellence! There is a large swimming pool, with clean changing rooms. The restaurants and lobby have very tasteful decor. If you are in Bangalore- this is the place to stay, its expensive and worth it.

We had an awesome time at the Leela Palace Bangalore. The ambience, decor ,food and staff were excellent. Special mention of the staff especially Prerna Ghadge Sharma, Vikrant, Mohor and Nikita. They made our stay very special and royal. Very nice experience. The breakfast buffet at Citrus was very good with a huge spread of all types of food choices. However would have appreciated if vegetarian pastries would be available. Will surely visit another time.

The Leela Palace truly is a palace in the midst of the orchestrated chaos that is modern Bangalore. If you are staying in a hotel like this, you will no doubt have certain expectations of how you will be treated, and in every likelihood, the Leela will not disappoint. I stayed for two weeks, so was given a junior suite, which comprises a separate living area, and access to a "personal butler" who would manage any requirements I might have. To be honest, I really did not avail myself of his services beyond organising a driver for a shopping expedition over the weekend. The rooms are beautifully detailed, and a little over the top to my tastes, but it was very pleasant all the same to be pampered on a business trip. There are many resturants, as well as bars and shopping facilities. You would not need to leave the hotel compound for non-business activities if that was your wish. All this luxury comes at a hefty pricetag however, and gratuities for any service are expected by the culture.
