Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and I loved this Hotel. Everything about it was excellent! Really nice rooms, great restaurant for breakfast and a great restaurant for Dinner on the roof and also it’s in a really good location. Bit on the expensive side but well worth the money!

We arrived at the Banyan Tree after a very long flight from London. The welcoming we received was fantastic - cold towels to refresh ourselves with and a lovely juice drink. Check-in process took a little longer than experienced before, however we were soon greeted to our room on the 26th floor with our luggage. We stayed in one of their 'Oasis Retreat King' rooms and it was AMAZING. Extremely spacious, with beautiful decor and the most stunning view. The bathroom was our favourite with the big bath, which I used 2 out of the 3 nights we were staying there. The details in the room were such a lovely touch, for example everything had the Banyan Tree symbol on it. The remote control had a holder, we had fresh roses and a fruit basket on arrival in our room, and there was fragrance oils burning. All in all, the room was thoroughly clean and we had a very comfortable sleep each night. We even had the opportunity to have 2 x items of laundry cleaned each night which was a lovely touch. Breakfast at the hotel was good. There was a variety of different things to choose from such as omelettes, scrambled eggs and fried egg, continental breakfast and more. We ordered room service one evening of our stay and it was lovely (little overpriced, but what do you expect!). Wifi was brilliant, gym facilities were brilliant, rooftop pool was brilliant. There was no complaints made during our stay! Everything was perfect. Location wise the hotel is good. We visited the weekend market during our stay and the hotel provide a complimentary tuk-tuk ride to the subway station that gets you there. The subway station is about a 8-10 minute walk from the hotel and we walked back on our return. Would definitely recommend going to this market as it cost us around 40 baht per person which is nothing! I would also recommend downloading an APP on your phone called 'Grab Car'. It's like UBER but very cheap and this was handy to use whilst in Bangkok. Bear in mind especially with the hotel taxis that they can rip you off. ALWAYS make sure that if you do get in a taxi that they put the meter on or agree on a price before you proceed. Overall, we had a lovely stay here and it was the perfect start to our holiday.

Stayed in the banyan tree for 2 nights during songkran. The location is good the hotel is fantastic, breakfast varied and very very tasty, the service from all the staff is absolutely magnificent, certainly a 5* experience
Had a wonderful trip with my wife for a 'special' birthday. The hotel is very elegant with exceptional amenities. Pool is fabulous and rooftop restaurant and bar among the best in Bangkok. The good things. Service was wonderful, instant upgrade to a higher room plus they brought a birthday cake to the room once we had settled in. A lovely touch. The room was really nice - 53rd floor - extremely spacious with great bathroom, sofa, work area and a fabulously comfortable extra large bed. Spotlessly clean, with complimentary fruit and water. The roof bar had a magnificent view of Bangkok and well made, albeit pricey, cocktails. The bad things Very few. the only potential negative is that the location isn't great. It requires travel to everywhere... the only saving grace is that taxis are plentiful and very cheap! All in all a great package. And perfect for a special occasion.
Hotel is Great, the service is second to none. The buffet was clean and had a lot to offer just make sure you know what you are being charged since prices fluctuate based on time and day. Rooms were clean and spacious
