Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
Had a wonderful trip with my wife for a 'special' birthday. The hotel is very elegant with exceptional amenities. Pool is fabulous and rooftop restaurant and bar among the best in Bangkok. The good things. Service was wonderful, instant upgrade to a higher room plus they brought a birthday cake to the room once we had settled in. A lovely touch. The room was really nice - 53rd floor - extremely spacious with great bathroom, sofa, work area and a fabulously comfortable extra large bed. Spotlessly clean, with complimentary fruit and water. The roof bar had a magnificent view of Bangkok and well made, albeit pricey, cocktails. The bad things Very few. the only potential negative is that the location isn't great. It requires travel to everywhere... the only saving grace is that taxis are plentiful and very cheap! All in all a great package. And perfect for a special occasion.
Hotel is Great, the service is second to none. The buffet was clean and had a lot to offer just make sure you know what you are being charged since prices fluctuate based on time and day. Rooms were clean and spacious
We stayed here for two nights on our homeward journey from an amazing 2 week holiday. Aside from it being a beautiful hotel the staff have been amazing. Unfortunately for us our 11 year old son became quite ill and had to be taken to hospital for suspected appendicitis. Krit Ruangpoon, senior guest relation manager, was amazing. He came to the hospital to translate and made sure that the rest of my family were looked after. He was outstanding. My son and I had to remain in Bangkok whilst the rest of the family returned to the UK. We are now back for one night at The Banyan Tree before our flight. Can't recommend this hotel and staff highly enough.

As a Banyan tree hotel I expect fantastic customer service and the Bangkok Banyan tree delivers on all levels. Truly remarkable nothing is too much trouble. However, what really made this hotel stand out was that when our airport transportation arrange by cathay Pacific did not arrive, Boyo the concierge and his team arranged the hotel transportation at very short notice and ensured that the Banyan tree team were waiting at the airport to help us, all at no charge. Truly amazing service - we will be back!
This is my first ever review on trip advisor, but this hotel visit prompted me to begin reviewing. We stayed here for 3 nights enroute to Phuket for our honeymoon. It is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The level of hospitality is way beyond expectations. Two particular members of the team: Noom at concierge desk and Anita in the club lounge went above and beyond to make our stay. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the 58th floor. There were many perks of staying in this room such as access to the club lounge. There was afternoon tea and happy hour additional to the breakfast. The food and variety was great! The only downside to the hotel stay was the speed of the internet access. All tourist attractions are also a tuk tuk or quick taxi journey away. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
