Banyan Tree Bangkok

This is our first visit to Thailand, with Bangkok being the first location on our three week tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel than the Banyan Tree to start our holiday. Right from the very arrival at the hotel drop off, to our check out, every single member of staff was friendly, polite and could not do enough to help! With clear instructions and making the check in so comfortable, this is just what is needed after a 24 hour travel from the UK arriving to such a vast and vibrant city! As it was my wifes birthday on our trip, our room was upgraded, we stopped in room 5008 on the 50th floor with incredible city views and also views of Lumphini park. The room was very clean and the rolltop bath with skyline views made the wife very happy! The facilities and overall quality of the hotel is first rate. Every area was clean and oozes quality. The spa area was tranquil. The roof top bars (Vertigo and Moon) were modern, boujee, but not pretentious where you could have a comfortable cocktail with stunning sunset views. We saw two proposals in one evening at Vertigo! Thankfully both said yes!!! Although we had access to the club lounge which includes complimentary happy hour and canapés in the evening, as we were exploring everyday, we only really took advantage of the breakfast. We really did enjoy this, with a great selection of western and asian food choices. More importantly though the food itself was delicious and the fresh egg options are recommended, along with the masala macaroni! Location wise, Banyan Tree is situated around a 10 - 12 minute walk from Lumphini park, and also Lumphini MRT station which makes getting around very easy! Or you can just hop on a tuk tuk outside the hotel entrance! Overall, we would 100% stay here again if ever in Bangkok and the qualiry and service was so good, we would happily stay at other Banyan Tree resorts and brands around the world.

Love the Muay Thai class here with Khun Suksan. It’s super fun and real tired. Highly recommend for those who’s looking for exercise class in the Bangkok city.

Vertigo TOO is a rooftop restaurant and bar located at Banyan Tree Bangkok, offering a luxurious yet cozy dining experience. The menu features international and fusion cuisine, with well-balanced flavors, high-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. The cocktails and drinks selection is also impressive, with a wide variety of options. Service is attentive and professional, with staff providing thoughtful recommendations throughout the meal. Overall, Vertigo TOO is an excellent choice for a memorable dining experience, whether it’s for a celebration, a romantic evening, or entertaining guests.

I highly recommend this place! The food was truly superb—every dish we tried was fantastic. Furthermore, the service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.
