Banyan Tree Bangkok

I stayed at Banyan Tree Bangkok as the final stop on my Thailand vacation with my best friend, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. I booked through Luxury Escapes, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was exceptional throughout my stay. I especially want to thank Mr. Chin and Mr. Boyo, who were both incredibly helpful, warm, and such a pleasant part of each day. My room was beautiful, spacious, and had an amazing view of the city. It felt like such a luxury experience from start to finish. I was also very impressed with the gym, which was well equipped and even had a StairMaster — a detail I really appreciated. I used it both days I was there. Breakfast was excellent, with an enormous selection of food and juices. There was honestly something for everyone, and I left very full both mornings. One of my favorite parts of the stay was enjoying the complimentary cocktails at Moon Bar during sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made for such a memorable experience. Another lovely touch was the turndown service. It made the stay feel even more special, especially with the little gift left behind. My friend also made use of the Epsom salts for a bubble bath and said it was exactly what she needed after traveling. The pool was gorgeous, with beautiful waterfall-style fountains, although I did notice that some of the jets were not working. I also ordered room service during my stay. The presentation was stunning and very well done. The food itself just was not quite what I am used to taste-wise, but it was clearly prepared properly and cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed having access to the steam room, sauna, and shower facilities. I only wish I had enough time to experience the spa as well, but unfortunately I was not able to fit it in this trip. The location was another plus — about a 10-minute walk to BTS Chong Nonsi, which made it convenient for getting around Bangkok. Overall, I would highly recommend Banyan Tree Bangkok. It was a beautiful, memorable stay and the perfect ending to an amazing trip. Thailand has completely won me over, and I will absolutely be back.

Sometimes in life, you find that without asking, all of your expectations are surpassed. The Saffron Thai Restaurant atop the Banyan Tree Hotel is just such an experience. Atmosphere? Exquisite. Value? Worth every baht. Toey and Mew excel in service,. taste and many nuanced flavours in each and every course. I do not hesitate with thanks, I rise to congratulate them. This was my second time staying at the Banyan Tree Bangkok, and this trip was to celebrate my partner's birthday last week. Honestly, I was already impressed before I even arrived. The reservation team, specifically Khun Narumol Kongchoo and Khun Rung, handled my booking perfectly and provided all the information I needed. A huge thank you also goes to Khun Sitthapat Pimmy, who seamlessly coordinated all the dinner plans in advance. On the day of arrival, we received such a warm welcome from the Duty Manager, Khun Aum. Khun Aum took excellent care of us, making sure we had everything we needed, and managed to assign a room that perfectly matched our preferences. The duty manager and the team, including Khun James, Khun Champ, Khun Kew, and Khun Pat, were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The room itself was spotless, and I have to give a special shoutout to the room boy on the 58th floor who was always super quick to deliver our requested amenities. Moreover, I would especially like to thank Khun Oat Akkachai for overseeing the entire stay and making the experience truly impressive. I truly appreciate everyone's effort in making this birthday trip a great one. For breakfast, the setup was temporarily moved to Vertigo Too on the top floor because the Executive Floor was undergoing a special cleaning. Unfortunately, the space up there felt quite cramped and was not the most comfortable for a morning buffet. For dinner, we had the Thai sharing set course at Saffron Grill, and it was fantastic. As a Thai person, I can genuinely say the food was authentic and hit all the right notes. The view was stunning, and the service was top notch. Thank you to Khun Kung, Khun Zee, Khun Korn, and Khun Aor for making it such a memorable night. I highly recommend dining here, even if you are not actually staying at the hotel. The next evening, we went on the Apsara Dinner Cruise. Let me start with the positives. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was delicious and beautifully plated, and the cruise along the Chao Phraya River was gorgeous, with a pause at Wat Arun so you can take night photos. A big thank you to the wonderful crew: Khun B, Khun Win, Khun Pop, Khun Phim, Khun Mie, Khun Sue, and Khun Boom for their excellent service. I have to say that the level of hospitality from every single staff member across the hotel was outstanding. I truly appreciate everyone's effort in making this birthday trip a great one!
