Banyan Tree Bangkok

We went the week of Melbourne Cup (Australian readers will know), my partner arrived on the Tuesday the week before and I arrive on the Thursday before (work ;(..), Club Access, ok maybe pretentious but wel worth it... So neither of us are neophytes to either Thailand or BKK, but COVID put a massive dent in our regularity to Thailand, I was a little worried that my partner (Female) would be 'overlooked', in the hustle and bustle of a big hotel..... No, not at all, a MASSIVE thank you to Wendy & Pim in the Exec Lounge, check in a breeze and nail reccomendations....meant her first day was both relaxing and sorted. I booked my parther if for the (paid) cooking course (the payoff is when we get home ;), 1 on 1, 3 hours, 1900 Baht......excellent value, again treated as a valued guest and not just a number..... I'll give you two more examples...my partner's cooking class was on the Tuesday...I arrived on the Thursday (overnight from Melbourne), dinner Thursday night (in-room) was going to be what she had cooked on the Tuesday....no, we (kitchen) think it might be a little 'stale', we will cook another Pad Thai....(fresh) and send this instead....amazing Fast forward to the Wednesday afer Cup Day...early flight from BKK the next morning....Pim in the Executive Lounge...."there will be a breakfast bag for both of you at reception in the morning when you leave @ 0400" , there was, hot coffee, sandwiches and fruit & croissant, no charge...just part of the service...that really stunned me Little things count and make an outsize impact on your experience, the care and consideratioin shown by ALL the staff impressed me (hospitality is a really hard job), I haven't mentioned dinner @ Saffron, Vertigo Bar or the room service chicken burger ;), suffice to say, we are coming back...

Flawlessly organized, warm and attentive staff, and Golf took such great care of us. The drone show was magical, the temple stop was the perfect photo moment, and the food? Absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Had an amazing time on this cruise! Our server Golf was great and was prompt with everything! I would highly recommend this experience for others in the city.

They even gave us a special desert and drinks for our Honeymoon! The staff were all so friendly and the food was incredible. I will definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Bangkok.

We stayed at the Banyan Tree Bangkok as a family and honestly could not fault it. We had a two-bedroom suite with club access and it was fantastic – really spacious with a twin room, a double room, and a large lounge and dining area. Club access is well worth it, with afternoon tea served daily and canapés and drinks in the early evening, plus a great breakfast option. The spa and gym are excellent, and they offer complimentary classes like yoga and Muay Thai, which was a great bonus. The rooftop pool is lovely too, though space up there is fairly limited. Vertigo is definitely a must-visit for the views alone, and it has a really great atmosphere. The location is ideal – not on the river, but still very central and close to Lumpini Park and the Skytrain. Staff were brilliant throughout our stay, really friendly and helpful. This is easily one of the best hotels in Bangkok and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city
