Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
Banyan Tree is an excellent hotel, I stayed an extra day since I liked it so much. I loved the reception as I checked in and the kind gestures the staff extended. The various restaurants were all very good, I tried 4 of them however they are quite pricey (~$250.00 for drinks and a couple appetizer in the Garden Bar for 2 people one night). If you stay more than 2 days and enjoy a few drinks it would be a good idea to pay extra for the lounge access The rooms are large and luxurious. I enjoyed a bath in the room and the turn down service was great. I went to the spa (I will write separate review) and it was one of the best experiences I have had. There are two things that could be improved upon.. - the taxi situation is not well organized and I had trouble 3 times getting a taxi outside and spent more than 30 minutes waiting because I was told they called a taxi for me only to find out that they did not. - the pool was not as nice as other 5 stars in the area such as W or Okura

I think the hotel is relatively old in terms of the room hardware. However, I really enjoyed the muay Thai session with coach Badminton as he studied sports science and has very good knowledge about fitness.
My wife & I stayed at the Banyan Tree Hotel They where really good, it started with the doorman, Concierge took great care inviting us in & making our stay really wonderful, worthy of the 5 star luxury hotel that it is. I would have no problems recommending this fine place.

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and amazing city view. The stuff is very friendly and the location is quite convenient. The working area is comfortable. I got a suite with a living room and a bedroom for decent price. Recommend.

This hotel was fabulous. The rooms were great with breathtaking views over the city and the breakfast was amazing. What made this hotel stand out the most was the service; the concierge was so helpful. One day we got a taxi back to the hotel and when the driver asked for 200 Baht the concierge, who opened the door and over heard, immediately asked where we had come from and told the driver 100 Baht was enough for our journey. The open top restaurant and bar is a must; the views are spectacular! Although, the food was very expensive!
