Banyan Tree Bangkok

I had an amazing Muay Thai session with Suksan and just wanted to say how great of a teacher he is. He helped me with my technique and also pushed me to train very hard.

Lovely hotel and hard to fault. We splashed out on a club room which was a great size and included executive lounge access. The lounge itself was (most of the time) a very tranquil and relaxing environment but this does seem to be abused by people with young children who bring them there and treat it like their private nursery. I'd suggest the hotel ought to make the club lounge child- free to avoid spoiling it. Other than that, everything was great - super helpful and friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, bedding was luxurious and the location is good too, close to Lumphini Park and numerous restaurants etc. I'd certainly consider staying there again.

I cannot rate this place higher! This is the best chain of hotels in the World for me. The service and hospitality is beyond explanation in every aspect. Our beautiful room overlooking the city which we stayed in before was constantly kept clean and replenished and the scent of the day oils and incense sticks are a beautiful touch. The personal handwritten note and selection of complimentary fruit and cakes were another wow factor, DOR K. OAT even remembered that we liked feather pillows… amazing! We cannot thank you enough for everything. It was a pleasure to meet the Wonderful General Manager KAI who could not be more welcoming and clearly appreciated us as loyal guests. The beautiful PIM remembered us from our last visit 16 months ago and her attitude and presence is just as impressive as she is. There was another intern we met before we went to Hua Hin and returned back here, whose English was very good and she was also SO accommodating and wonderful and wish her every success in the Banyan tree I think she is already a big asset. I had mistakenly forgot my card in the cash machine at the hotel and a wonderful lady NID retrieved it for me which had saved me ordering a new card so a huge gratitude for her service also. The location is perfect 5 mins from the market in tuk tuk and a 7 min walk to the park which is beautiful and a must see, the lizards are huge. I would like to thank all the kitchen staff for their delicious and beautiful display and wide range of food in the club lounge we appreciate you very much. The sky bar is a must see, the views are spectacular, however our favourite bar is the garden bar which is a few levels down, which is more intimate, very pretty and they will happily make you a Singapore sling when it’s not on the menu… so thank you!! The flowers throughout the hotel are stunning and the beautiful smells throughout the hotel are delightful our favourite being Lemongrass! This will ALWAYS be our stop off point if we travel out this way or further afield as we feel the Banyan Tree is now our second home. Finally we would like to thank Mr WAT who we love very much and appreciate him coming to say hello even for a minute or two, when he is very busy. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly in every way. KAI you are doing a fantastic job and your team of staff are a credit to you. Thank you again and see you next time.

We took the Banyan Tree Saffron Dinner Cruise, and we were extremely satisfied with the experience. Our server, Lek, was absolutely wonderful — he brought out the food on time, made sure our drinks were always refilled promptly, and was very attentive throughout the cruise. He also kindly took great photos for our family, which made the evening even more special. Thanks to his excellent service, we were able to fully enjoy this memorable night together. Highly recommended!
