Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
Stayed at the Banyan Tree for 1 night with my wife on 26-27 June. We booked dinner online for vertigo restaurant as we had been once before for drinks only and wanted to try the restaurant this time as well. The food was brilliant as we had hoped - tiger prawns, beef carpaccio and duck breast. The maitre d' was excellent, friendly and offered good advice for the menu and drinks. We also had cocktails at vertigo rooftop bar including the Bacardi Legacy creation "The Haole". All of which were great. However the obvious star of the show is the view which was amazing on a clear Bangkok night. We then tried the Vertigo Too bar and loved it as we had it to ourselves since everyone else was in the rooftop, so if you fancy privacy after taking in the view from vertigo then that's a good tip. Finally we found the hidden gem of a bar on about floor 54, called Saffron. This was a revelation as it is also open to the views of the city on 2 sides as well as being totally covered and also super quiet. The room was lovely and all the little touches and amenities really make you feel looked after. The bed was so comfortable we hated getting up to continue our travels. Oh and the view was, as expected, fantastic. As a matter of fact we are booking another night on our way home because we loved it so much...... so see you all again in about 2 weeks.

Stayed here for 2 nights, wished I could stay longer. The service was really top notch, they don't even want you to stand and wait at the check-in reception counter although i really don't mind just do it over the counter. They make sure you are served comfortably hence we were asked to just take a seat at the lobby and everything is brought to you at your seat. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to their Serenity Suite which is on the higher floor and the view from the hotel was awesome. I can't find any fault in the room, everything is just so luxurious and the bed was just comfy that we really had hard time waking up in the morning. I love their bath especially, the scent of the bath oil was so nice that i make sure i had at least one long bath per day and in addition, the place is kept so clean that i feel comfortable to use their bath tub. My booking came with a free drink at Vertigo but unfortunately we didn't use it due to time constraint, too much things to do during my short stay. I tried the Banyan Tree Spa and the great experience was beyond any words that i can use to describe. The most expensive spa i ever been but it is the BEST spa experience I ever had. Perhaps, just some minor suggestion for consideration, a) maybe there should be tighter security control eg to have card access in the lift so that only registered guests can access the rooms floor with their room card; b) more frequent shuttles to the nearest BTS station, one hour is abit too long and also to consider a return trip from the BTS station. Overall, a very short stay but the people and the service provided at Banyan Tree made it a memorable one. I will sure to come back again if there is good deals.

stayed there 4 nights with my family. I used to stay in different hotels in different countries, but I like this one very much, the welcome garland and herbal drink really impressed me. the checking in and luggage are well arranged. you can just sit there to get it done. there is 7-19:00 living room at 11 fl, free snack and refreshments there, 21 fl there is a small swimming pool, with sauna, gym there, 29 fl there are 2 room with toys for kids. 59-62 is for the moon bar and vertigo restaurant. moon bar, is the place that you have to go and will never forget, the whole BKK city are yours by there. verynight, they have some cookies, souvenir for the guests, daily fresh fruit. given you the feeling like at home with your grandma. a small band paly at the lobby, because I have kids with me, so I did not pay too much time there, but next time, I will try. the staff are nice, with multiple language speaking. so, no need to worry about the communication. buffet breakfast are nice at the -1 fl, sometimes, if its full, there is a backup at 29 fl. there are Australia/Germany consulate nearby, 7/11 shop by walk 4 min, if go to the metro, takes 10-15 min. so taxi will be the first option. the location is the business and commerce, consulate area, local restaurant is a little bit hard to find. but in the hotel you can get anything. gave some suggestion to the hotel people that they need to work out some program for the kids, like drawing and painting which the Accor hotels used to give to the kids, even this is business and commerce area, but they need to grow up their potential guest in the future. overall, nice hotel, love it very much, will recommend to the friends. will come back again. love it.

I stayed at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok last week for 2 nights and was very impressed with the attentive service from start to finish. I had a great meal after a rainstorm chased me off the rooftop bar, the staff were excellent in relocating me (and my drink) to the Saffron restaurant which was superb. I will defiantly stay here again.

This was my first time to stay in Bangkok and I selected this hotel because it is close to my company's office. The price was very reasonable so I was very surprised how beautiful the hotel is and how large the rooms are. My room was a suite with a separate sitting area and bedroom and a large bathroom. Unfortunately I did not get to enjoy the hotel since I arrived late at night and left early the next morning, but I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Bangkok and staying longer.
