Banyan Tree Bangkok

This was our first time in Bangkok and we were excited to come to this cruise. The food and view were great. And the service and experience was much better than we thought is going to be. The food was delicious, the dessert was great, overall this was an experience that we will definitely repeat once we are back. I must mention our wonderful waiter, Lek, who went above and beyond to make our experience amazing.

We had a lovely stay in Bangkok. The hotel and the staff are very good, we had access to the Club Lounge which was a bonus, so we enjoyed afternoon teas and drinks and canapés in the evenings before going out for our meals. The rooms were spacious, very clean and functional. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We were on floor 31 so we did have lovely views. You can use the pool and the gym which were well equipped although we did not use either of them. It is a about 10/15 minutes walk to the Metro and the ski train and there are plenty of buses. It has a shuttle service to the stations (although we did not use it). You are close to two shopping centres, One Bangkok and Central. The first, I believe it is newer it was very quiet and in the second you have a food hall with Michelin starts restaurants, we did not eat in any so I cannot comment on those, it was a busier shopping centre than One Bangkok. There is a nice park close to the Metro which is good for a stroll and a brake from the busy streets. We used the spa facilities and I could have had a treatment every single day we were there. we both enjoyed our treatments very much. We visited Saffron (Thai food) restaurant and the food was delicious, it had very nice views and has an outside bar with life music. We also had an evening meal at Vertigo, the roof restaurant, floor 62 (I believe), al fresco dining. The first night we had booked for the restaurant was closed due to the rain, so make sure you contact them on the day before going there just in case, although they had alternative arrangements if it happens. We booked for the following night. Very nice atmosphere, the restaurant was very busy, but was not noisy the service was very good and we did not have to wait long for our food. The food was just fantastic, I am not a very big meat eater but in this occasion I went for meet and it was really really tender and tasty. Price as expected was dear but you are not only eating you are having an experience too. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. They forgot we were there for a special occasion and they made up to us when I mentioned they had forgotten about it, they looked so sad that I regret having said anything at all. So Thank you Vertigo for your very kind gesture to us, we do appreciate it.

Good food, good atmosphere and Good service staff especially from k. Anny and k.Aeae. I do recommend to visit this restaurant

The food and services are very good. Khun Mile has very good service mind. Location is easy to get in, close to MRT Lumpini.
