Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
This is one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok, from the moment you arrive to the time you sadly have to go! The staff cannot do enough for you, inside or outside the hotel! We stayed on the 47th floor and what a view over Bangkok! Stunning! The breakfast is exceptional, the vertigo bar and restaurant are literally out of this world! We had a complimentary pass to the 11th floor for canopies and drinks, another fabulous touch the hotel put on. TIPS, if it's your first time in Bangkok. 1. Use the hotel concierge. They will assist you in anyway they can. Helpful to no end for trips, taxis, and general information! So use them please 2. Free hotel transfer to the sky train terminal or subway. 3. Use the meters taxis. From the hotel to the MBK centre is approx 70bht. The Tuk Tuk's want to charge you more but agree a price first. 4. Visit the Asiantique. This can be by boat or taxi. Taxi from the hotel is about 110bht. Again please see your friendly concierge for a taxi. 5. Use the river buses for sight seeing the temples and markets. Costs very little but a great way to see the sights. 6. Try a long boat trip. See your concierge for them to book this for you. I would always do this to ensure you have a reputable tour operator. 7. Dinner cruise! The hotel do one and it is fabulous. I would highly recommend. Let's leave it there, as I could go on and on and on! And you have to do some of your own planning to make your own trip special.

5 days left of are stay so far no problems. A good improvement with are stay from may this year. Again stayed in two bedroom suite with club access on the 19th floor. Two bedrooms one with king size bed with bathroom with steam shower and free standing bath the other bedroom two single beds with bathroom with shower and bath and 3pcs of laundry free of charge. Club breakfast good food options Snacks through out the day with drinks Staff always helpful with smile on your face To be honest it feels like are 2 nd home end of this year will be 11 years coming to the banyan tree bangkok price point very hard to beat have not named and staff name because they all do a fantastic work.
We stayed here for just a few nights to start off our honeymoon in Thailand and used The Banyan Tree as our base and what a hotel this was!!!! We booked a club level room and would thoroughly recommend paying that bit more. We were picked up at the airport by the hotels limo which was an amazing 7 series BMW with everything you could imagine - I won't ruin it but make sure you request this! We booked through kuoni so this was all sorted for us. We arrived to the staff opening the doors after waiting with floral bracelets to put around our wrists wishing us congratulations. We were told our luggage would be in our room - which it was before we were! The place smells amazing and the lobby's and lifts are very ornate. We were taken straight to the club level lounge and given a drink whilst we were talked through breakfast and amenities available. We were then taken to our room! Room: We had a suite which turned out to be a lounge plus a living room with a huge bed leading to x2 sets of huge double wardrobes that went into the bathroom. It was huge!!! A tv in lounge and bedroom, a desk in the lounge with stationery, mini bar as you'd expect, a coffee machine, rose petals on the bed, usual luxury amenities in the bathroom. We were also allowed 2 prices of laundry free pppn. Hotel Amenities: We only used the club level lounge. However I know it has a high level outdoor pool, numerous restaurants and a gym at the very least. The club lounge had an excellent breakfast choice, mainly eastern Asian foods but also western choices, in addition to an egg station plus lots of fruits, pastries etc. They would also serve you're drinks as requested. The lounge from 2pm also served free cocktails and local beers as part of your room package! They also had numerous eastern food snacks which were great!! Location: It is a high rise hotel in the business district. About a 20min taxi ride to Kao Sahn Road but close to shopping centres. The reception will order taxi's for you if you ask and will grab you from reception once it arrives. We used this as our base to visit the royal palace and the floating markets! Would I stay again? Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt. There was so much of the hotel we didn't get to visit if I ever come to Bangkok again I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed at the Bayan Tree Bangkok for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The hotel has the best services and fantastic restaurants and bars. The staff are very friendly and sweet. They wrote a card, sent me a rose and a small cake for my birthday. It’s such a warm touch. We’ll definitely go back on our next vacation.

We visited Thailand for some sun and warmth before the British winter. Bangkok is crazy busy, but this hotel was an oasis of calm. All the staff we came into contact with were excellent, relaxed, friendly, helpful, chatty - all you want from staff. The rooms were perfect, the service everywhere was second to none. When we booked trips and taxis the service was quick and reasonably priced. Sat at the pool on our last day, I was offered (and accepted) a complimentary head, neck and shoulder massage. We booked a suite which gave us access to the lounge plus other benefits - well worth the extra cost. The food at this hotel was delicious too. Regarding location, the hotel is within walking distance of Lumphini park, shops and night markets and the sky train - which is faster than taxis at most times of the day - depending where you are going of course! I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Thank you to all the staff who made my stay relaxing and memorable.
