Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand

There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.

Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. I am a tiny bit afraid of heights so being on the 44th floor took a little bit of getting used to! Staff are wonderful. Free massages by the pool & Vertigo Bar for drinks is breath-taking. Annoying that the Buy one get one free offer on drinks cannot be shared per person. It meant four of us had to buy eight drinks and attempt to drink at the same pace as each other before receiving our second drink - I feel this is really unfair when you are paying Ā£30 for four drinks! Disappointing. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful and I would highly recommend! <3

Our family stayed at One Bedroom Suite and enjoyed a lot. Especially the stretching class by instructor Suksan and Muay Thai class by instructor Oaf was great! I totally recommend these classes as refreshments during your visit.

I heard rumors that breakfast at Bangkok Banyan Tree is good. But I did not think it was as good as I expected. I think it would be good if good food is arranged together. Other services were really good. Check-in / out service, medical service and overall service were all good. I'm satisfied.

I did have an enjoyable experience over at Banyan Tree Bangkok. The people there are very friendly and helpful. I love the facility for showering, it is thoughtful for check-outed customer. The location is not that good, but im good to use Grab as my transport. =)

We stayed for three nights at the Banyan Tree before flying to Laos for a couple of weeks. We were in Bangkok last year so didn't feel the need to run around as much as usual to see the sights. It was our intention to enjoy the hotel stay and that we did. This is a beautiful hotel, we had a club room on the 57th floor. It was spacious and well fitted out, the view was fab. We used the drinks and canape hours in the evening well and enjoyed a breakfast and afternoon tea there too. Excellent service everywhere in the hotel, very friendly and accommodating and smiles from all. We loved sitting by the pool and were impressed with the small touches that were provided to help you feel comfortable - ice cold water, cold towels, fruit. We had a couples massage in the spa which was incredible. We breakfasted in the main restaurant for some variety and found it well organised and food good. We drank in the high floor bars and loved the views. Last year we stayed in the Chatrium Riverside which was really brilliantly placed for getting around BKK. The Banyan Tree didn't feel as easy to access the river etc but we were happy to be more chilled out and I know the hotel runs guests to the MRT and to the market. Taxis are cheap and plentiful so sure it's easy enough. We just can't really comment on it. When we did use taxis this was well organised by hotel. A perfect stay in a wonderful hotel in a city we love. Looking forward to staying at other Banyan Tree hotels in other countries.
