Banyan Tree Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand
There’s something to be said for a 21st-story outdoor swimming pool, but Banyan Tree Bangkok is not just a vertical resort. Situated in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cultural centers, amidst the best retail and entertainment, this is a headquarters of sophistication. It even offers a “shopping companion” to guide you through the city’s alleyways. And with its aromatherapy burner, even your room is a journey for the senses. The restaurant’s 53rd-floor restaurant Taihei serves sake and sashimi in the clouds, and everyone from concierge to massage therapist extends the hospitality for which Thailand is known.
Indulge in a breakfast of banana pancakes and a traditional Thai coffee, sweetened with condensed milk. Energized, visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, the home of Thailand’s president, and stroll through the famous Buddhist temple Wat Pho, home of the giant Reclining Buddha. On your way to the river, you’ll only need a couple dozen baht to enjoy the street food: chicken satay, mango sticky rice, roast pork belly or a shell of coconut milk. Board Banyan Tree’s own “Aspara” riverboat and enjoy an elegant dinner of crab in coconut broth as you see the traditional floating markets in action.

Reviews for Banyan Tree Bangkok
Just want to thank management for working with me when I experienced a medical emergency. When I am back in Thailand I can’t wait to visit the hotel!!! The hotel looks amazing especially the roof top deck. Thank you Banyan Tree

Simply a stunning hotel! The location is perfect for BANGKOK sightseeing and shopping. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. The views from our room had been stunning during the day and especially the night! Every member of the team had been so friendly and caring - they really made us feel so special. The Vertigo bar is amazing and a ‘must do’ experience when in Bangkok. Also definitely try the Apsana, their evening river boat cruise for an amazing Thai gourmet dining experience. Loved the hotel, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return. Thank you to the amazing team who made our stay so special.

Visited this hotel for 2 nights. What a joke of a 5 star, will start from beginning. I have been to many 5 stars and could not believe the check in literally tells you absolutely zero about the hotel. Does not tell you about pool, restaurants, breakfast, absolutely nothing?!. Just gives you your room key and says see you later. We went for dinner at the roof top bar and again service was pathetic. Went to get table and figured that since we were actually staying at the hotel we would get a nice table, nope we were given a table by the staff bar and facing the bad part of the view. We had to ask 3 times to be switched. We were switched finally and the food was average and not at all worth the price they are charging here, furthermore the staff are not great and while there was a few good ones there was way more bad ones, for example one lady was constantly giving dirty to looks to customers. When we asked for our bill we waited ten minutes, we had to push our finished food to the side so they would remember we wanted our bill. Also ordered a beer and it was warm?!?!, cocktail was ok. When we were headed out for the night the guys who sit there to control traffic told us to go smoke in the middle of the road basically, how pathetic. When we returned home and were a little tipsy I told the same traffic guy to check metre so I can pay and unbelievably this guy tried to tell us 1100 baht?!?!. It was plain and simple, sir, how much on metre, this crook tried to say 1100 baht. It was actually 65 baht!!. When I asked him why you lying to me he basically ran off and would not respond and then I was told by concierge oh he does not speak good English and blah blah blah. The room was ok but one part of the ceiling was falling off, the toilet barely works and the shower ghetto and the toilet barely functioned. Overall this place has the service of a 2 star, probably one of the worst 5 star experiences I have ever encountered actually. They need major work on their check in service as well as the roof top bar. I would not recommend anyone to stay here as there are over 50 5 star hotels in Bangkok.
Stayed here for 2 nights and have to say that we were quite blown away with everything about this hotel! Stayed in a Serenity Club room which was well worth the extra money and the service we’ve had throughout was excellent, as are all the facilities. We’ll definitely be back
The room we got check in was terrible 2801 so we requested the room after one night staying. The bed is next to the door and facing the street traffic so is quite noisy and also right across the building the lighting is so bright so you couldn’t even sleep so as the view is just facing brick and mortal no much natural night. Swimming pool is small. 52 sky bar is good and spacious. Overall experience not as good as what I originally expected. Breakfast can offer more hot food - which means more fresh made food instead of fried rice been heated for the whole morning. Breakfast time is until 1045 but the staff was so rush to clear the site about 1030 which they would come to you and take away your plate which I was still eating. Just very disturbing.
